Belkin states they were already riding when the puncture of Valverde happened. They say it's a nice bonus |

You mean like last year when Sky had their yellow which is pretty unheard of lead for a teammate.
But i get it, i just dont think its fair to the sprinters, Kittel is in that group and if i were Cavendish and his team i would say F. Valverde, we want to win this stage.
Belkin i will grant you should have stopped a bit and let the other teams do the work.
But its good that we are not seeing Saxobank in front, they know not to tempt faith |

Belkin started working vefore Valverde had the puncture, why should they stop? That would negate all the work they did before.
They weren't workibg this hard before Piti's mechanical.
Hypocrits. I remember how they complained when LeoTard did the same to Mollema in TdS a few years ago.
They did? Watch the stage again when it's done.
Edit: Sorry, I misread what you wrote as they didn't work before the puncture. How hard they worked is very subjective though.

Well, Leopard were pacing before Mollema had a problem in that race as well. You simply can't stop after all effort you already made because one/small number of riders fell.
Tour de France 2010 and Fränk Schleck fall is a really nice example of this, even his own team didn't wait for him. Only extreme circumstances like that year's stage to Spa or this year's first stage are exception to that. You can't stop riding if you made a big effort. Contador and company didn't wait for Schleck when he had a mechanical in that year 2010 either.

At the Dutch television they were calling the team manager riding in the car behind. I just told what he said |

Fuck you Belkin. Keeping Kittel behind and giving Cav's leadout a break.

1) Belkin were indeed already riding before the puncture.
2) You can't wait every time someone has bad luck. Falls and punctures are part of the sport.

Ehm, yes.... Schleck couldnt ride after that crash and abandoned immediately, why would anyone wait at him |

This is 2013. The Belkin directors know why Valverde was dropped. Case closed. |

Why would you wait for Frank Schleck with a broken collarbone if you had Cancellara and Andy on his wheel in perfect position. Doesnt make any sense |
