I don't want to start a discussion, but you can't seriously think that Cancellara is clean. Do you know why he is called Luigi?
Why is he called Luigi?
Luigi clasicomano, bloodbag n°24
The luigi link also referring to Checchini, where a certain F. Cancellara was client.

A few years back at the Tour of California, Cancellara made the incredibly hypocritical statement that certain riders (Mancebo, Sevilla, etc) shouldn't be allowed to ride because they were involved in the Puerto investigation (which isn't really surprising considering Cancellara commonly makes hypocritical statements)
In the peloton riders tend to know who is doing what, so for the entire race Cancellara was surrounded by riders on the Rock Racing team (even squeaky clean guys like Michael Creed) going "Hey Luigi. What's up Luigi?"
He shut up about the subject after that

Didn't know about that. Funny story about that race, though |

So can't decide who'll overall be best man for OPQS. Serry v Kwiatkowski.
Serry did quite well last year, and shown good form in Brabantse Pijl. Kwiatkowski meanwhile could surprise again. Damn, having dillema for my velogames team

Go for the one that doesn't go in a break nor make the top 20 thanks
I'm struggling on whether to compromise on a couple of riders to get Purito in :/ |

Just realised that Bemelerberg is now the penultimate climb, with Keutenberg much further away from the finish. Does anyone know why they've made such a stupid change?
Ruins the parcours, imo. Keutenberg is now 30 km from the finish, and Kruisberg / Eyserbosweg / Fromberg even further out. No way the big favourites will attack that early. It's like the organisers want a replay of the pathetic world's race and a sprinter winning.

Can't they just say ''Sagan, is yours''? Cause this change in the climbs will make this race impredictable. |

Not Vanendert but Vogondy (Cofidis)
And De Troyer again in the long break. Was in the long break during RvV aswell.

That would be weird, since Cofidis is not in the race
He rides for Accent Jobs - Wanty |

Wasn't he sick and people didn't know if he would even start Amstel? Or he was sick and he's not anymore. |

The latter.
He missed some race-days, but went training instead. He said in a regional newspaper that he feels better than last year(10th), when he didn't miss race-days.
So maybe?
Or it is me being a Mollema fanboy

Nice to see Pliuschin in there, returning to the top again. You have to respect his attacking style. Also Van Overberghe getting some exposure is great, he has a decent amount of talent over longer climbs if I recall.

Money. The change of the finish line frm just atop the Cauberg to 2km away is a good one, but the organization didn't think about the race when doing it, but about their pockets, as there more room for VIPs there. And how could you charge those VIPs more money for staying at the very same place? Yes, doing a circuit so they can see the cyclists twice. Be thankful that they added one more climb to the craptastic Worlds circuit, I don't think you can make that circuit (much) harder.
