Milano - San Remo anyone?
(Edit: after Sagan of course...)
Not a chance.
Great to see that Ciolek seems to have found a new lease on life at MTN.

Great timing, coming from wheel of Greipel and "blocking" Cav nicely, he barely held on Peter's wheel.
Great to see him winning in a flat sprint, completly without teammates in last 10kms.
I wouldn't say it was a flat stage with pure flat finish though it had plenty of hills in it with tough small hill near the end that affected others more than Sagan obviously and that's why I made him a favorutie for today in bets. However that doesn't stop being the win very impressive, it is
Yeah, not dead flat of course, but still opposition of Greipel,Cav and Ciolek in top5 show it nicely as good for flat sprinters. But the hills can cost them energy as you say, on the other hand, they had teammates at least.

No need to talk about some rider's chances to win MSR, you forgot MTN is invited

I'm sure the bumps, wrong turns and weather might have played a role but Cavendish was right on Sagan's wheel going into the last 200m and couldn't make it past him, not to forget Sagan went past Greipel too - impressive win for him (again).

I predicted Sagan vs Degencolb for MSR, but now it's pretty obvious who'll win this year.
Spoiler 1. Sagan
2. Goss
3. Cav will come too late and will blame his team
4. Ciolek (African team ftw)
5. Hushovd back in form
10. Greipel's train will fail to form after the Poggio, and everyone knows how good Greipel is in fighting his place forward |

Also good bit of manoeuvring (courtesy of @mrconde) with about a km go as Sagan bumps Cav off Greipel's wheel - watch the bottom of the screen at 2:33 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wPuun...e=youtu.be |

That's way too much pressure on Niyonshuti. Give him a couple of years to build up to it.

Sagan says he is worried about his health a bit again. His caugh returned and he does not feel very comfortable in this terrible weather conditions. So he hopes that the weather and caugh gets better once again. I really hope for it too, it would be shame to see him not finish the race and his classics preparations endangered.
Still, he is winning despite that.

Well, probably today even we might already have sun. Bad weather is happening in all of South of Europe. |

I think Sagan's just another actor on a bike. We've known many like him
Voeckler always seems to be dying, Albasini looked flat out and then he won the stage in Paris - Nice. Armstrong always faked being honest Maybe Sagan is just a brilliant actor, too (it would be a great tactic to confuse his foes for San Remo)

Seriously Eurosport? Showing ski jumping instead of the Tirreno mountain stage in a country where there literally is no ski jumping nor does anyone give a shit about it?
