As it is right now I think training a rider in Mountains are fairly useless, as "Grand Tour" training gives almost the same, but also gives a much better TT.

This level 4.1, is that just level 4, 100 experience points?

There will (most likely) be 3 training types for climbers, with the goal to make it possible to create different climbing types: Stage Racer, "attacking climber" (more acc/fght/downhill, think of it as creating an Alarcon) and "Hang on climber" (more backupstats, like a RL Basso). Will hopefully make for some interesting choises. Iirc we will also get a larger difference between classics and cobbles training (among some other changes)

Source?
Usually, 4.100 is written 4.100 as well. Degenkolb f.ex. has 4.1 next season, so isn't maxed out yet.

I have no source, when browsing through the db I can only see XP levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 so I assumed level 4.100 would be level 4 with 100 XP points. Not right?

Check the next coloumn. It says the points. So you can have every point between 4.1 and 4.100. |

Completely right
The colloquial term is maxed out.

Would it be possible to create a formula for that new AVG calculation without using macros? Whatever I am doing what I am doing, there is probably no way I can run these macros to working on my PC.

Put the new formula into the top column and drag it down, just like creating any excel formula. I believe SN detailed the formula in the first post. |

Actually, looking at the formula, I didn't realize it had to select the top four from a list. You need VB to do that, hence, macros.
I don't think you can do it any other way, although I must say I'm not an excel expert. |

Yeah, I already tried to create a formula by myself and it seems that it isn't possible..

In theory I think it is possible, if you got enough "if"s ;-) (Not that I will try, the macros are no problem for me :-p)

Can you do ifs in a standard formula? If so, then it's very doable. I'm on my windows distro at the moment to do something, and I don't have an office app, so I can't do it now, but if that is the case I can do one for you in a little while here. |

Well, if ifs are possible. Here, let me pull up Slack and see if I can manage it. |

I've worked out how to do it with a particularly ugly hack, but am having some implementation issues. Unfortunately I have some physics homework I need to do before class, but I'll give it a try after I get out and should be able to have it posted here for you some time this afternoon/evening (so evening/night for you). |

So I've finished it, but it's not completely correct, and I think SN might have to take a look at it to figure out why. My algorithm seems to be working properly, and yet some of the new values are different from the old ones, without me having changed any of the relevant stats (I'm assuming I heard correctly that the AVG2 column has already been adjusted for the new AVG calculation, and that you didn't need to run the macros on the first boot, in which case it's probably working). I've checked an everything seems fine, so either a) I made and missed a stupid mistake, b) SN put the average calculation wrong in the first post of the thread, or c) mistakes were made in the original calculations, although I highly doubt the last one.
But here it is...
