Congrats to Petrobras in Brazil, in a farcical race by all accounts.
Koldo Gil impressed with consecutive titles in Spain, Milka showed how a NC should work in the Czech Republic, and Gardeyn impressed in the Netherlands. Good few races there. |

What was the time gap when the peloton was stopped?

Haha these races are hilarious.
Get ride from Gil in the Spanish championship once again.
As for the Belgian champs... That s pretty much what I expected.

It was about 30 minutes, I was half expecting it - it was still a bit of a WTF when that happened.
By the way highlights today will be Sweden, South Africa and contrary to jph27's dodgy geography Gardeyn impressed in the Netherlands the real Netherlands championships will be coming.

How many champs are we missing before the season is over?
I guess my best shot for a nat champ is Greece

And I can add Australia to that list too for today's treats.

15 or so, but they are not holding anything up, plenty of stuff is also happening in the background.
On my posting front, it will be Britain soon, then probably nothing else until tomorrow.

Yeah I know. It wasn't meant as a "hurry up" post It was just to know how many races we needed to race until the season was ultimately over.

Nothing to see here, there's a reason why I'm studying Engineering, not Geography you know.
Britain went well for us, although would have liked an easier parcours for Gaywood's sake. Still, 19th in the RR and 9th and 10th in the TT isn't bad. |

Kind of excited for Sweden, as my team will look that way next season, but my main event from now on will be New Zealand TT.

Looking forward to that Swedish time trial. The South American was a funny one
Strong win by Gil, and dominant show by Rapha, congratulations to them and all the other winners so far! |

Stupid South Americans. I was hoping Nicácio could reconquer his double championship status. That would make him more interesting to re-sign or more easy to sell. But I'll settle with the TT title.
*enters hibernation mode till portuguese champs*

Absolutely, it was a really nice race, at least from my perspective.

That was a shame. Guess no British Champion for Wiggle this year. Maybe next eh!

I can't quite describe how tense it was watching Bobridge go up the climb. The gap was just hovering and he almost had it, but as the road flattened strength in numbers helped the chasers. I was cheering him on.

I must admit I thought Bobridge had got it. But this cyclevox mini momentum has slipped into the nationals (and the worrying naffness of JRB also). Should be interesting to see what ANFreeman will come up with regarding the jerseys
Another nice little race, I enjoyed the British championships also which proved fairly tactical.
Sorry for yet another weak race in South Africa.
