The sponsors didn't get there wish of a stage win but Kreutzfeldt came real close on stage two
Still they should be happy with his Overall victory in the Points Competition
I think the sponsors are getting used to the team winning something else than the requested by now.
When they want green we take yellow/dots/white/stages and when they want stages we take that elusive green
...They seem happy enough

Coppa Placci
The race was ridden hard from start and Falcon – Norheim took it’s share of the work tearing the peloton in pieces over the hills. Unfortunately Tom Boonen were among the last 18. Instead of hanging around hoping for a good secondary position Carlström did his best to get rid of Boonen before the line, but with no luck.
Result:
1. Tom Boonen, Omega Pharma - Quickstep
2. Eros Capecchi, Liquigas - Cannondale
3. Sylvester Szmyd, Liquigas - Cannondale
17. Kjell Carlström, Falcon – Norheim
Sparkassen Giro
With 12 passes over a small hill this could be made into a hard race, and Michael Færk Christensen did his bit working in the breakaway. In the end a decimated peloton had to sprint for the win and Jebjerg did OK in his first real race for months.
Result:
1. Stefan Schumacher, Christina Watches - Onfone
2. Stanislav Kozúbek, Whirlpool - Author
3. Christian Moberg Jørgensen, Glud & Marstrand - LRØ
6. Kasper Jebjerg, Falcon – Norheim
Circuito de Getxo
You know the drill. Break gets away. Peloton catches break and decide the race in a bunch sprint.
Result:
1. Tino Thömel, NSP - Ghost
2. Kasper Jebjerg, Falcon – Norheim
3. Florian Vachon, Bretagne – Schuller

A month with a lot of good attempts, but not a lot of gain. Decent riding with a couple of podiums and a points-jersey for Kreutzfeldt. Still best Continental team, so that’s good.
Rider of the month:
Mark Cavendish. 5 stage wins and green Jersey in Tour de France. The Cannonball as we know him in july…
CQ Rankings:
1. Cadel Evans, BMC Racing, 2904 pts
2. Tom Boonen, Omega Pharma – Quick-Step, 1969 pts
3. Fabian Cancellara, Radioshack - Nissan, 1812 pts
36. Kasper Jebjerg, Falcon – Norheim, 609 pts
1. Radioshack – Nissan, 6796 pts
2. Team Sky, 5361 pts
3. BMC Racing, 5272 pts
18. Falcon – Norheim, 2287 pts
19. Cofidis, le crédit en ligne, 2125 pts
20. Landbouwkredit – Euphony, 2005
1. Spain, 6606 pts
2. Australia, 5800 pts
3. Belgium, 5751 pts
8. Denmark, 3147 pts
17. Norway, 1806 pts
22. Sweden, 916 pts
34. Finland, 305 pts
August will start with Paris – Corrèze, where our sponsors (yet again) want us to wear the sprinters jersey. In the end of the month Post Danmark Rundt is the big goal of the season for this team.
Today Erik Meineche McDermott joins the team as stagiaire. Erik is already a decent rider for the cobble races, but has a huge potential as well. Many call him one of the biggest talents of his generation.

Sounds like McDermott is going to be a hell of a signing for the team if he can achieve his potential |

He's already among the best cobblers on the 2012-squad, so if we get promoted he will most likely make his debut already in 2013

We got a good trainer and really believe in him, so I don't think he'll ever get a better chance than this

Paris – Corrèze
Norheim have requested the sprinters jersey in this 2-stage race.
Stage 1
In a two-stage race going for the sprinters jersey practically means going for the win – so that is what we will do.
After a very hectic beginning of the race Jesper Mørkøv got to form BOTD with 6 other rides and another 5 riders in a group between the front and the peloton.
The kilometers went, but the pack lead by Team Type 1 never allowed the break to get completely out of reach. Guess they didn’t want to spend a whole day in the rain for nothing.
In the front the break starts attacking each other as it gets obvious that the break won’t last as it is. Mørkøv is very active in the front and manage to win the first two Mountain sprints nearing the finish line. At the 4 km mark the last part of the break is caught by a 45 rider peloton decimated by high speed and crashes on the wet road. It turns in to a chaotic sprint and all the falcon riders get caught in the middle between slower riders.
Stage results:
1. André Greipel – Lotto Belisol
2. William Bonnet, FDJ - BigMat
2. Yukija Arashiro, Europcar
7. Magnus Bäckstedt, Falcon – Norheim
9. Kjell Carlström, Falcon – Norheim
Mountain Jersey: Jesper Mørkøv, Falcon – Norheim
Stage 2
Time to win…
Mørkøv went for the break again today. At first Lotto Belisol wouldn’t let the break go, but all of a sudden they changed their mind. Mørkøvs main target for the stage will be to get as many mountain points as possible, since todays route is most likely to hard for him in the long run. With 3 climbs and 30 pts to go Jesper has a lead of 28 pts.
On the next climb several other riders try to ruin his plans, but he gets two points and the Jersey is now secured.
20 km to go for the break and a lead of 1’45’’. Looks like another hectic finish.
On the last hill Carlström tries to break Greipel by attacking, but Lotto catches up with him. Kjell does his best in the finish but at the line Bellemakers was the strongest and Carlström gets second on the stage, the GC and the points classification (with 1 pt)
Stage results:
1. Dirk Bellemakers, Landbouwkredit - Euphony
2. Kjell Carlström, Falcon – Norheim
3. Juan Manuel Gárate, Rabobank
Final Standing:
1. Dirk Bellemakers, Landbouwkredit - Euphony
2. Kjell Carlström, Falcon – Norheim
3. André Greipel – Lotto Belisol
6. Jesper Mørkøv, Falcon – Norheim
Mountain: Jesper Mørkøv, Falcon – Norheim
Points: Staf Scheirlinckx, Accent Jobs – Willems Veranda’s
Young Rider: Jesper Mørkøv, Falcon – Norheim
Team: Falcon – Norheim

We only lost the points jersey with one point, so it was really a matter of luck
@ the_hoyle: They seem to be happy as long as we achieve something
@ Jakstar: It is getting a bit of a habit to win something else than the requested
@sutty68: Everyone seem happy with what they achieved

Once again Falcon - Norheim have invited us to a pressconference on the transfer situation.
Today we have the pleasure of announcing the signing of four new riders. Three very talented young riders and one wellknown fighter
A Hot Swedish Prospect
Spoiler Tobias Ludvigsson
This talented young Swede is best in the Timetrials, where he in spite of his young age already in 2011 won the opening timetrial in the 2.2 race Tour de Normandie.
We expect a lot from Tobias. At only 21 years of age he has already been professional for two years and gotten some decent results. He is not bad on uphill sections either, so he will be a good addition to the team chasing TT-wins, the occasional breakaway and supporting our captains when the terrain gets tough.
A Future GC Contender
Spoiler Christopher Juul-Jensen
Christophers first season on the highest level has drawn some attention. He has been a valuable helper for the team and have even managed a GC 7th along with being best young rider in Int. Österreich-Rundfahrt. This 23-year old rider should have much more for us in the years to come.
We are very happy that Christopher chose to leave Saxo Bank in favor of us. We will help him develop to achieve his big potential. In a few years I wouldn't be surprised to see him going for the win in races like Tirreno-Adriatico
A grimpeur in the making
Spoiler Jesper Hansen
Jesper Has developed a lot this last year with Glud & Marstrand - LRØ and is already turning in to a more than decent climber, though he haven't got a lot on his palmares yet.
I'm very happy that we convinced Jesper Hansen to join us. We need climbers badly and he is perhaps the biggest climbing talent in the North. Already next season he will be captain in most of his races. The only thing keeping him from victories this last season was too few mountains on his schedule. Next year we will see him do well in worldtour races, and he will be crucial for our chances of avoiding relegation.
The Unstoppable Fighter
Spoiler Lars Ytting Bak
In 2011 Lars Bak turned in to a popular figure in the Danish Public as was constantly leading the peloton on the flat, or doing the same in a breakaway. Along with his 5th in Paris - Roubaix and Danish championships in the Road Race as well as the TT he has proven to be a solid rider, who only gets better as time passes by.
The signing of Lars is really a great one. He's a good man, who can help the young riders settle in and take the pressure of them a bit. Next year he will chase his chance in various breakaways and on the cobbles along with Hushovd. This is the chance of a lifetime for him, but he's earned through hard work and taking the opportunities that have arisen for him. Next year is going to be nothing but oppotunities!
These four riders should be the last major additions to our 2013-roster. We now have riders, that can win World Tour races next year and riders, that will be very strong in a few seasons. Beware Sky, Saxo and whatever your'e called - The Falcon is coming!
