Yay, Nash and Stybar back in action and right back to great performances from them!
Actually Stybar was pawning too much, not a clever move indeed, putting him to 4th was a nice justice. Shame he will not race many races this year, i have a feeling he would be ruling even over the Nys.

He definitely could rule. Not over Nys though, maybe along with him.

It seems like Stybar racing boosted confidence of Simunek also.
I did not see the race, was it a good one?

I didn't see it, too. Just way too many crosses these days
Good to see Bosmans grabbing a win!

It was a great race. Pauwels had a terrible start (about 25th position after the first few corners), so Nijs and Albert immediately set an extremely high pace.
Pauwels could close the gap to 10 seconds, but then it was over. Nijs and Albert tried to drop the other a few time, with Nijs having the advantage of being the more skilled rider (like passing Albert in the outside in a dangerous descend).
In the last lap, Nijs used his skills to create a gap and Albert was broken.
Pauwels was leading the chase for a long time, and the 2 Czechs dropped him in the last lap, being dead tired.
Great race!!

Yeah, Simunek was surprisingly strong. Though he's always very inconsistent. Maybe Stybar's presence did give him a boost.
In other news, there's a possibility of a new professional cyclo-cross team that focuses on developing non-belgian riders to make the sport more international.

It's a good thing he reacted relatively calm, instead of starting a fight.
He's totally right, it's an outrage that "fans" do this.

Like every year in Loenhout the audience was disgraceful. After a couple of laps the floor was loaded with plastic beer cups. They were throwing beer on Stybar too.

So Stybar bought a cake with the word sorry on it for Denuwelaere after making him crash in Essen.

Today's actions showed Nys is the greatest ever, in every possible way.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Walsleben proving he's alive after single-handedly winning me the first ever Fantasy Betting (Off-)Season back in 2008.
He basically won every U23 cross back then
(Wow, I though it wasn't further back than 2010 maybe. Holy cow, time flies.)

Evening cross Diegem coming up in 15 minutes. Easy profile as always, so no real top favorite today.

So another demonstration by Albert, he's riding incredibly strong at the moment. Behind him, a big group fighting for 2nd, with Pauwels taking it before Stybar. Nijs 7th after starting too bad. Van der Haar 9th (I believe), tried to attack in the penultimate lap, but got caught and he had run out of energy...

Yup. Twas a typical Albert win. Escaping in lap 2-3 and then solo to the finish.
