I suppose it could be split into a new thread if anyone is interested in a discussion about it. If not we'll just leave it there.
But to brighten the mood a bit; puppies and flowers!
I'd take it to a new thread with you!
Maybe I should make a thread dedicated to the... eh... *cough* more serious subjects of a somewhat more political nature? That is, if the administrators will allow it, they seem to be quite strict when it comes to new threads.
If it doesn't get shut down immediatly, I can't think of a good name for it... "The serious thread"?
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

You can replace peace for oil and oleoducts if you want.
Everybody also remember the 40th anniversary of the Munich Massacre, but who really remembers the hundreds who died in the air attack by revenge of the Israeli government?
Not a fair world... for sure.
+1!
Maybe ecuase, these people didn't ask for a war????? Then arent soldiers, just regular people who died.
Spoiler For those who are offended by this: it was not my meaning to be funny, or to be rude. I definitely don't approve the things that happened on 9/11, but I really hate what Bush did after that. I once saw a 'philosofical' sentence about that:
But not only the 'Bush Wars' are horrible, also the fact that people are starving to death in Africa (and other regions) every day, just isn't acceptable! That's a million times worse than something that happened a day 11 years ago..

Why don't I go to bed? Have to get up in less than 7 hours... Why?
Probably because of the nice bottle of Palm-beer I'm drinking (great Belgian beer) and I'm watching the results of the DUtch government elections.... Waiting untill the results show up from my hometown....
And because I need 1 more reply to reach the 2500

Is Wilders going to get reelected with any serious representation for his party? |

You are my man Ricotero, i was asking these exact questions my friends yesterday. World is sick, many more innocent people died in Afghanistan and Irak in the following years, who reminds their losses? World is sick...
Edit: Sorry to post it here, i just saw later that this is off- topic here...we want only unicorns and flowers now, cos world is beautiful place without faults.

Good holidays and enjoy Rome and Naples!
Two wonderful cities, even though i have only been in Naples because we took a boat to Ischia when i was younger.
As for the WC everything that's possible to show will be sent on RAI. So no worries there. |

Ya know, when we bombed Japan, we gave them a chance. They had attacked us, and we repeatadly said, "We're not killing our men for no reason, give up or we'll bomb you". They didn't listen. We bombed them. They still didn't listen. We did it again.

Ya know when he had those planes crashing on your towers (and other places) he had given you a chance. You (we) brought Western civilisation and modernism to countries he wished to still live in the 7th or 8th century. He had threaten you to stop it and turn Muslim, you didn't. He bombed your ships. You didn't change a thing. He crashed your planes.
Of course he had little to no legitimacy, and civilisation may be more subtle than war, but his logic was the same as yours. |

But still, most of the victims were completely innocent...
