Just a usual Oman/Qatar flat stage, finishing at a flat circuit.
Sky controlled the pace in the peloton, and didn't let the break to far away, and at the 20km mark reeled them back easily. Team Sky also set a strong train to help Cav. Knees, Eisel, EBH. What a strong train for Sky!
Cav fullfils the expectations again! Great sprint on the uphill sprint. Just take a look at the 3rd, and then you'll know how uphill it was! Bahr comes 7th, after having a great speed at the end. He's improving to say at the least.

The biggest favourites here are obviously the famous cobblers like Cancellara or Boonen, but I think that Hushovd will be very strong too, given that his performance in Oman was pretty impressive.
This race is the cobble - season opener, and lots of people were waiting to sóthe start of the Omloop, let's see what does it bring for us.
The peloton was slowly splitting apart under the pressure of OPQS. At the end of the last cobble section only 20-25 riders were in the front group. Cancellara was on a dumb tactic, and was leading out (!) Tom Boonen. Our riders were not feeling good enough to have an impact.
At the 1km mark, you can see Boonen sprinting with a big lead, so Cancellara's strange tactic was unsuccesful, and he also started to fade. A bit further back, Hushovd and Breschel tried to work their way up to Boonen.
And Boonen wins the Omloop! A beautiful performance by the OPQS rider! He easily outsprinted the others. Breschel came 2nd and Hushovd was the 3rd. Pye came in the 12th place.

The startlist is very much like the Omloop one, so the favourites are the same, but some sprinters like Greipel or Cav can be also strong at the end.
The race started pretty slowly and OPQS and RadioShack controlled the peloton. The cobbles were not too exhausting, and the pack remained pretty big. After the last cobbles some pretty big attacks came from the likes of Cancellara, Boonen and Flecha, but Yoshinabe(what an amazing workhorse he is!) almost alone reeled them back in the pack! The things stated to settle down and the sprint preps started.
Hushovd was incredibly strong, and lead at 1km, but Boonen came strong at 2nd, and Thor started to fade. Pye and Noble were also in a good position, can they do something?
No, because coming out of nowhere, Greipel wins the K-B-K! He just edge out Pye on the line! What a bad luck for the SpiderTech - Cervélo rider! And Noble makes it 2-3 for the team! Hushovd and Boonen faded a lot and came 4th and 6th respectively.
