Hopefully Alarcon can hold on to his jerseys now, but it's very hard to tell. This tour has been quite unpredictable. Flat stages seems to be my best shot, so Haedo for stage 10, that's at least something to hope
And congratulations to CSC - Orbea and Mresuperstar, a race which no doubt has paid them very well.
Unfortunate for Alarcon that the route isnt mountainous enough to encourage gaps. Stage 11 is better, but then there that flat/downhill section. But anymore stage wins for you, and youll be really regretting not taking a stage win sponsor goal!
True, but if my team should manage lots of stage wins through the season, I'll be happy anyway
And hopefully Alarcon shines in my targeted races, though, when he's not able to win his home race, with less competition (statswise), I fear the worst.
Anyway, whatever success or failures, this is great fun! |

Not only does Rodas want to win, he is taking it to everyone with his own attacks . Congrats ember on another win.

Great performance there from our sprinter, Matteo Carrara.
Pity he couldn't sneak the win. Guess the points he picks up from here go some way to replacing the points he is failing to pick up from the GC.
Another stage win for Aker. If Alarcon had been firing on all cyclinders this would have been a great race for them. How many race days does Alarcon have anyway? |

Hopefully Eastman can move up to the top 5 on the last 2 stages. I still want a stage win too.

50 race days for Alarcon. Great win for Haedo and my team. Though, failing to win the GC, as the huge favourite, makes me not completely satisfied. But with 4 stage wins, it's been a great season start, in terms of stage wins |

50 is more than I thought he would have. Then again - I suppose he's all about that one stat. |

Too bad my sprint train didn't work out this time. Brilliant sprint, though, by Haedo. What a kick!
Congrats ember. I'm sure the 4 stage wins, green and white jerseys will cover the 2nd place in GC

Surprised to see Kessiakoff managing a third place. Good to see him try. And if Paulinho attacks at one of the two next stages, all my possible GC-contenders have attacked in this race.

After the finish at the 11th stage, it was heard that the Bianchi car beeped a lot

Thrilling stage really - first of all great work SN to deliver such a detailed report over a stage that has surely been hard to cover with all that action!
I've been a bit disappointed in Saldarriaga for not staying close enough to Castaño but once he finally did was our leader able to save enough energy to put all the other GC - Contenders in red (well less trouble than mr. Alarcon).
Rodas has been phenomenal, though he will be under pressure on the final stage with Alarcon smelling blood once again.
I can only hope that Castaño will be able to hold off third - a result the team can be very satisfied with.

That was close. Rodas stop scarring me! Great job by the team to keep him in the race. I hope stage 12 isn't as thrilling that this one. What a way to start the season. @ember may the best man win tomorrow.

Awesome race. Who could tell at the beggining that the GC would only be decided in the last stage?

This just got way more exciting than I thought it would be before the final stage. And it's a hilly one, wide open.
And good luck to you too Mresuperstar, will be a thrilling last stage. |

Excellent report - it had me on the edge of my seat.
The last stage should be a cracker.
Notwithstanding Vespa's performance, best ManGame edition of this race ever. |

"Vasquez is next, but right in front of Rodas! What on earth is he doing? Rodas' time loss to Alarcon is going to be reduced by Alarcons own teammate!!!"
I found this quite amusing, looks like Vasquez is the "eigth man" on Team CSC.

The next step in reporting would be a livestream
I think Alarcon will not gain some time tomorrow and thus, "only" finishes 2nd. But Aker surely is the winner of this race with five stage wins until now.

+1 Rodas needs all the help he can get, to beat a man like Alarcon.

I haven't looked it up, but Alarcon's hill stat is fairly poor isn't it? |

Damn it. This was a horrible stage for Team WWE.
Anyways, two big fights for the last stage, I guess. GC and Team GC. It is not impossible for Team WWE to get the team GC back, but it will be hard.
