Word of friendly advice to jseadog: You need to get yourself a better program for making jerseys. The quality is well, horrible...the sponsors are pixelated and unclear. Take a look in the fantasy shirt section of the shirt database, and see how it should look. It's awesome that you want to create jerseys, but you will never improve as long as you use paint.net. You need GIMP or PS. Yes it looks complicated, but you will get acquainted with it at some point

Multiplex is totally right, jseadogs jerseys, is terrible, and I don't know how he hasn't realized it yet, you have to make better jerseys before you start a request center... The design is terrible and sometimes the colors are totally mised.
My first jersey:
Random jersey by jseadog
Your quality of design, and logos and so on is very low compared to eg. me and multiplex, and almost every single shirtmakers.

Okay guys so at everyones request basically the quality needs to be improved so after some experimenting I have found a way to make the sponsor look better so maybe this wont be an Anti-jseadog thread anymore. Dont understand why these people dont just leave me alone.

A bit more respect to each other would be very nice.
I haven`t checked all jerseys and actually I don`t have to.
Jseadog is offering his freetime for other members. in my opinion it doesn`t matter what others think about it. As long as there are people that want a jersey by him, he should continue. There is always room to improve, but why writing in HIS topic that the jerseys are bad and the people should more likely requesting in other topics. This is not a good behaviour at all even no matter who is better.
You all are free to open your own topic. But then let the users decide, from who they want the jersey. All shirt makers have their jerseys in the topic so you can get a first impression before starting a request.
So posts like yours, Multiplex are totally unfair against jseadog. Even if your jerseys are better, it`s up to the members to decide.
@ Wiley And please don`t post a "This jersey is nice" in this thread and then open a request at another shirt maker with "the last one wasn`t nice". This is also not a fair behaviour.
@ jseadog: Just go on. Improvement will come. But I agree to MrDemus, that Gimp is a better program and also freeware. There are more settings than with paint.net.

I am not a graphic specialist and I am using Photoshop. But Gimp has nearly the same functions and these are more than Paint.NET.
I learned a lot by watching Gimp or PS tutorials on youtube. There are plenty of them.  |

You can do a lot more with GIMP, and the quality will be better than on paint.net.
To compare to something you may know off, Photoshop is Microsoft Word, GIMP is Open Office, and pain.net is notepad....it's that big a difference. Watch some tutorials, and try to look at some of the great jerseys that are created using GIMP or PS

Fine for you multiplex.
There are members with a brilliant graphical knowledge. These would probably be able to make awesome shirts with Microsoft Paint.
But in general there is no doubt I think that Gimp or PS are better or at least larger programs than Paint.NET.
So why shouldn`t jseadog try to play around a bit with Gimp. Maybe the shirts will become to be fine in your eyes.
My earlier post had nothing to do that Paint.NET is the reason for this argument. It was just a post to make clear that bullshitting other people in their own thread and making commercial for his own "same thread" isn`t a good forum behaviour.
If you don`t like his shirts, then don`t request here, but everyone who is requesting here seems to have no problem with the shirts and are happy that someone offers this service pretty quick as they couldn`t do it better. |
