According to cyclingnews, UCI considers revoking VacanSoleil's ProTeam licence.
I hope they do, that'd benefit FDJeux (if they don't forget to post the papers this time), or Geox. Any of those will always be better than VacanSoleil, no matter what. |

As far as I understood some articles It sounds like they revoke their license but no other team will get one.
So just 17 Pro Teams, but I might be wrong. |

Right now, there are no legal grounds to revoke their license. Ricco is not banned (just "injured", and Mosquera is also free to ride. |

A doping ring was detected in Girona, Spain. Seven people were detained. Except of the former Kelme rider Jordi Riera none of them is an active rider. A lot of stuff like EPO, growth hormones, Nandrolon and good old Clenbuterol were found. The stuff was supposed to be from Portugal and Andorra.
The information came from an anonymous rider, who was offered dope via email.

Entire? I'm pretty sure Rasch and Hushovd atleast were based in Monaco, they've moved?

They should ask Landis about the reason why there are so many foreign sportmen based in Girona. I'm sure it's got nothing to do with its proximity to Andorra.

Previously, the Garmin team has been located in the same area (part of the team philosophy). Not sure if that has changed with Cervelo joining the team. |

Exactly. Almost whole professional American cycling was living there. For example, Armstrong's neighbour was Hamilton. Wasn't he writing a book or something? |

Most of the Garmin-Cervelo team are still there. Also my friend Matt Busche (Radioshack), Michael Barry. |

According to El Pais that rider was Xavier Tondo.

Confirmed, it's been posted on Vacansoleil's website.

But still not suspended by UCI, is he?
I've no idea how he feels, but I guess he's alright since he's out of the hospital -- so free to ride? |

More or less, yes, except that you need a team to ride in professional races. |
