Really I didn't see the crash at firrst, but the first four riderson the tarmac were Topsport riders at least. Can't say that it didn't happen due to someone taking their backwheel
Shonak: In fact they dropped back to help pacing for Walker as did in fact Bardiani.
trekbmc: He was caught with 10 km to go as staed (and shown) in the report.

Chur!
Good win for the great Calzone there and fulfilling the sponsor goal of a stage win. Hopefully he can win more here and whatever he gets in the GC is a bonus. Shonak, he's going to have to return again sometime.

If needed I'm willing to do a report.

I just realized how dominant that win was for Calzone, great sprint from the young lad. I am also very pleased with the performance of Frapporti who isn't the main lead out man, he only took the job because Gavazzi was caught up behind. With 6 stages to go, most of which are pretty much pan flat, I think we can aim for more stage wins. And a good high GC placing would be great, maybe even a victory for the great Calzone.
Erik Bousche for Bardiani doing quite well finishing 10th and 16th on the first two stages before losing a lot of time going back to help Modolo, pity he did that but that his is job as a team mate/lead out.
