So, do you still think TVG deserves more mtn than Talansky?
Ok let me clarify I said a few days ago that Talansky deserved 78 but changed my mind because i don't like giving a rider who don't have any top results from one of the GT that high in mtn so i would wait until at least mid tour before giving him that. but by all means it looking promising
Of course. I would be a hypocrite if I didn't look at his Tour performance first, but I think it's heading that way for sure.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy
This is the higher shelf. Maybe Rafał also deserve those 78 in the mountains. A couple of the players should have reduced these stats e.g Evans or Niemiec.Reichenbach deserves a big upgrade, 75 for now, we'll see how they handle on the Tour.

Looks good, but I would prefer Rodriguez on at least 80. Won Catalunya and was as good as Froome the last weak of TdF.
Nibali 79 and no way Contador and Froome not to have equal mountains. Otherwise Froome should get really low recovery 76 at most which I think he deserves baring in mind TdF13.
Contador, Froome and Quintana should all be 82 MO imo. And ofc, Quintana should have his ACC lowered from 76 to 73/72. He doesn't have a big punch. Talansky should be 78 MO.
I don't think Nibali should be lowered to 80. In 2012 he was far worse in the Dauphine than now and finished 3rd. We should wait till the end of the Tour. My opinion:
82-Froome, Contador, Quintana
81-Nibali, Rodriguez
80-Valverde
79-Porte, Kreuziger, Horner, Mollema (at least until Suisse ends), Uran
78-Betancur, Pozzovivo, Aru, Kelderman, Rolland, Talansky, Van den Broeck, Majka
77-Peraud, Fuglsang, Evans, Van Garderen, Ten Dam, Pinot, D.Martin, Hesjedal, Spilak, Costa, Niemiec, Poels, Wiggins, Nieve, Roche, Kiserlovski, F.Schleck, Frank, Duarte
I think that betancur deserves 79 MO. He won Paris Nice and Tour de Haut Var and last year he was equally if not better than uran on mountains. And by the way, he is far better than pozzo.
Yeah, Talanksy 78 sounds right. We know he can perform in Grand Tours (10th last year Tour) and from here on out, he'll only get better. We'll be great to watch in the mountains.
I'm with Unguru30. Those MT stats look very solid, and it's very close to how I changed my DB early on (Contador-Fan and such ).
82-Froome, Contador, Quintana
81-Nibali, Rodriguez
80-Valverde
79-Porte, Kreuziger, Horner, Mollema (at least until Suisse ends), Uran

Neither PN nor Haut Var was a mountainious race. So 78 is fine.
First of all last year Contador wasn't half as good as now, look at stage 2 in Dauphine-he followed a 700m uphill sprint(doped Froome for me). Then, show me a road race this year where Froome gained time on Contador(excluding bonus seconds.)Then lookat stages 18-20 in TdF13, catalunya 2014 and yesterday's stage and dare to say Froome is the best climber in the world. He is no longer uncrackable.

Talansky at least at 78 now. Not sure I'd give him 79 until we see the TDF.
If he keeps riding like that he may end up something like 81 at the end of the TdF. I'm not talking about today stage, but he was stronger than everybody but Contador the whole race considered (and his form was on a rising trend) and if other riders won't gain form relative to him significantly in the next month, Talansky should end up on the podium of TdF.
He deserves 78 straightaway.
