Have seen the Tour multiple times now, mainly in Belgium. I can tell you going to the rider's village at the start is the most intresting. Seeing the rider's pass is not so different from other races but the atmosphere in the rider's village is just awesome.
Jesus Christ... After a nerve wrecking 8-10 hours infront of A DataSheet, I can officially say: I NEVER WANT TO BE A STAT ANALYST, EVER!!!
One might think, analysing 120 surveys is quickly done, but once you have to analyse the findings in relation to one specific factor, It ruins your life... Took me a good 2 hours to get the Data for 3 Graphs together today... HELP, Im going Mental!!!

Ill be in Paris for the Tour finish. Would have liked to be more adventurous and go off to Alpe d'Huez or wherever, but since it's the first time Ill see the Tour in France, going to Paris was the easiest option
Sounds cool, I've only caught the Tour twice in my life: once with the stage finish in Ghent (only 5 km from my house) and once in the Alpes, when I was too young to remember where. I only remember seeing the KoM Jersey
I saw it when it came to London in 2007 (6 years ago, wow) and will definately see it in Yorkshire next year too - but the 100th Tour seems as good an excuse to any to get to the Champs Elysses and watch it there! After that, watching it somewhere in the Alps too has surely got to be done. Will have to work on my own cycling though for that, as I gather that the best way to see the Tour in the mountains is to ride up the climb earlier in the day!
Just came to a weird realization that college multiple choice tests are a lot similar to a messed up game of American baseball. Think about it, if you consider the entire test to be 1 baseball game you can break it down to the following. 1 question would be an at-bat with the possible answers being pitches.
Except in school we are supposed to complete the test without 8 other students (batters), answer all the questions right (1.000 AVG compared to .300), and not get paid millions to do so.
Fellow Americans will probably relate more, but the point I'm trying to make is that standardized test are horrible, I would do writing assignments every single time if I had the choice. And yes, I'm pretty sure I failed one an hour ago.
I missed the Tour in '07 as i only got into Cycling in the 2nd and 3rd week of that race. Will obviously be going to see it in 2014.
Will probably go to Paris to watch it this year. If my exams were a bit more spread i would head over to Italy to catch the Giro or the Dauphine in June. I have enough saved up, just no time.
Next year I'll be at the finish of Stage 1 of the Tour. Wish I could go to France, but too expensive I might go to Plouay if I can get a summer job though.
That says it all about how PE is in Norway. When we had gymnastics in PE, our teacher asked a girl who is 1,60 and about 50 kg to perform some flips, cartwheel etc, which she of course did easily. Then, he asked a guy who is over 100 kg and overweight to det same, and he of course failed. "I expected a lot better", the teacher even said. When we protested, he said that he gives grades in the way the PE headteacher tells him to do..
Then, some weeks later, we had wrestling (greco-roman or whatever you call it) and we were randomly assigned a partner. The overweight guy and the short girl were put together. The teacher even shouted at the girl, "you gotta flip him! flip him! come on!"... It was hilarious

Our PE teacher is sexist, but if you overlook that he's the best teacher I've ever had
All right! Called an old mate and we're getting together for an epic 5-hour jam today. Neighbors of mine: expect a lot of Beatles-ACDC-Metallica-Guns n' Roses-Led Zeppelin medleys and hours of improv!
Gonna head down to the track in a good 15 minutes to take part in irelands oldest college rivalry... TOday its the Colours athletics day...
We, Trinity College, are set up better than ever to beat our arch rivals UCD for the first time in years (well our long distance runners have them in cross country races all the time, but on the track we failed the last couple of years)...
Lets see how helpful our coach is (he was former student, captain and coach of the UCD Athletics Team)...
Who is Justin Beaver?
Is it the straight twin of the lesbian? that did a show with Robin Sparkles on Canadian TV? Did he write The Beaver Song? If he did, he is awesome and i want to see that concert!
If it is, as i fear, Justin Beiber, the lesbian pussy who is the face of pure dumbassery and embodies everything that is wrong with our generation, then i will be busy doing anything else!
