Café Pedro 6: And now for something completely different...

Obviously he was too far from the action to judge anything properly.
From there on everything is logical,he thinks the striker has been pushed inside the penalty box and thus missed a goal opportunity, so he whistles a penalty and shows a red card.
It's not like the striker who fell on his own and said nothing is innocent either. Some players with guts would have gone and talked to the ref and admit they just fell on their own...

Yeah, but if you look closely you see he looks an awful lot like Andy Schleck Pfft

While my PC with Windows7 were getting repaired I borrowed my wifes PC with W8 and I'm thrilled to have gotten rid of that system.

It's like everything is hidden one step further away if you don't have touch-screen. probably great for tablets/touchscreen-PC's but worthless for a "classic" labtop

The issue with W8 is that it doesn't do either thing very well. It's only just OK for desktops/laptops and only just OK for touchscreens...

Very happy with W7, though.

Among our experts on our Tour de France liveblogs at tv2.dk is Michael Rasmussen. Rather entertaining hearing all his comments on the race. Went crazy yesterday when Anton attacked, because he had two bottles on his bike.

"DROP THE BOTTLES! What is he doing? He's riding around with half a kilo more than he should. It drives me insane seeing something like that!"

I don't know if I should laugh or cry:

At ARD at a magazine, they showed a bit of the Tour (but just 1st stage??? at most, well they don't show the Tour live anymore since a time but we are now at the 4th stage..) with a lot of small interviews.

But afterwards they showed mountain biking. The presenteress?? said something like "Too bad that mountain biking is in the shadows of the Tour in the meanwhile with no sport related (I guess they meant doping) problems and more exciting racing." Rolling Eyes

I guess the researchers have absolutely no idea well it wouldn't be the first time.

At ARD - the rest isn't even important

Laugh. You don't have that many tears.

Just ordered The Last of Us after reading the impossibly good reviews on Amazon. I needed something to play until Cyanide make PCM13 playable, which won't be until after I'm back from Paris (I'm going to watch some cycling race in a couple of weeks, can't remember what it's called).

Do any of you guys have it? Is it really as good as the hype suggests? Without spoilers obviously Wink

Rasmussen has an obsession with losing weight that can only be called OCD. He shaved his head the day before every race to avoid extra weight

It definetly meets the hype. The story, the gameplay, the graphics, the hcaracteers, the developement. Flawless.

And used shoes one side too small at the Giro to gain some more weight.
But he's right though, when you attack uphill, or attack at all, weight matters. The difference between a successful break and one that's reeled in is sometimes very thin, so 500+ grams could matter.
Though, if it was empty, I guess a water cage with a bottle has a better S.Cx than an empty one.

Awesome. I really can't wait to play this game. Paid extra just so it would be here tomorrow Cool

Yeah, I know. That's partly what makes it funny Wink

Creepy thing is that he's still very thin despite not having raced at top level for years.

Some sportsmen just can't let go.

Can't be healthy for him.

I guess his weight is the least of his health problems having been a professional cyclist.

On another topic:
Is it somehow possible to do something against these spam bots? Maybe making it harder to register?

Jesleyh
Maybe a Captcha for registering on this site?
It's annoying to register then, though we would at least don't have those bots anymore...

Nah, I think that's too much.
A lot, and I really mean a lot of members only sign up for the downloads(at least at first) and they are already annoyed that they have to make an account on this site to get to the downloads. But having to use their own mail to confirm it again as well annoys them even more Pfft
A Captcha is annoying as well, but it's just inserting a few letters.

Actually, using a Captcha for this site was an idea that came up in my head to send in for the 'idea competition' from this site. Wink

I don't think that would be annoying, as long it's only when you first register.

I hope we'll see a PCM 13 stage database on the site soon, there are already many stages made/converted!

Back after three days in Gerês, the North of Portugal for the end of year schooltrip. So, what did I miss?
