Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey starts today/ Always great coverage. 10 stages, 2 MTF's, one or two for a breakaway and rest for sprinters.
The GC field sucks here, no-one really standing out ( Atapuma, Meyer, Barguil, Kashechkin ).
However, the sprinter field is class so we should have some great sprints here.
Greipel, Kittel, Guardini, Coquard, Bos, Renshaw, Howard, Kruopis, Ciolek, Fenn, Cantwell, Modolo, Chicchi, Napolitano

Enjoy the coverage. Last job ever for Alfacam. The broadcasting company also responsible for the Olympic games among many others. Got declared bankrupt this week...

Atapuma should take the GC fairly easily if his form is okay. He's by far the best climber in that field, imo.
Also looking forward to see how Coquard fares against Greipel and Kittel.

Atapuma should win. Still, I hope for Seeldrayers finally to re-show. |

Just personally, it shall be interesting to see how Cam Meyer is progressing after deciding to dedicate himself to the road post-London Olympics. |

I wouldnt expect too much from Atapuma. The preparation from Team Colombia for the Giro has been a disaster. Atapuma has only 10 days in his legs and the last race were he took part in was Critérium International were he was 33 1 month ago. |

Cam Meyer? 11th in AToC, 16th up Prati Di Tivo.
Looking forward to Barguil, and obviously Kittel to show he really improved his sprint as training evidence suggested recently.

He's good, but not as good as Atapuma.
Stage win on Passo Pordoi and 8th overall in Giro del Trentino plus 2nd on Mount Baldy in California, among other results.

2'28 behind Atapuma on Mt. Baldy so Atapuma is definatly a step higher. We have to wait for his form though. Didn't he go back to Colombia after Criterium to prepare for the Giro? His form should be better then.

Yep. He's been training and this is his 1st race since Criterium. |

Cardoso now is a teammate for Lasca. Clearly moving to Caja Rural didn't even help him a bit, declining and declining even more... |
