Who exactly? I remember laughing at 3 different riders, and one of them onlu once. Just wanted to compare, see if you older folks can find humour in different riders, just interested really.

Of course it depend on what you like, but the ol Cookie Monster with his mispelings and wroung namecolling has cracked me up more than once There are others, too, who have been known to make some brilliant posts, though
Anyway, when can we expect the nominations to be released, jandal? So the voting can begin? |

Yeah, Cookie is the best, ofc there's Bakari and Matti got a giggle once or twice.
On the serious note, ANZAC weekend, then another week of school before I get home suggests I can't do it anytime soon, but worst case scenario I'll do it informally on here over this weekend/week with a formal ceremony post next weekend

Okay. Because the new season starts on the 4th of May and it'd be too late to do season 1 rewards once the new season already started
If you could just post the nominees soon-ish, though, then the voting could already start

That can be a late nom.
Actually I was thinking racing moment, but that's not a bad call. Added.

You mean once or twice he got his name spelled correctly
Sending in nominations, sad to see that no one nominated Matt's solo at Kwaremont cross, and when I sent in noms it was too late and after then I forgot about it

Sorry Shonak, but Vague is such an egoistic bastard.
Anybody remember Page 15 (+16) of the game thread, with the double interview and the conversations beforehand.
Lol, don't remind me. I still don't get why everbody was hating on Vague and Cook all of a sudden. Super pointless.
Wow, that new banner is super stylish, SN. It should make Schiltz 3 kph faster, by default. Minimum!

I agree with Shonak. Schiltz' new banner is fantastic
Also, Shonak, you'll have to use the new UCI numbers now for your banners. It's always a nice detail, though, great stuff!
I also didn't quite understand where that hatred came from with that double interview
About 75 hours left for sign-ups!
Unfortunately there isn't anything left I can do. I've already released calendar, race information. Teams are still being formed... I'm out of a job for a few days. When the sign-ups conclude we'll also finish the transfer season soon-ish and then I can finally make another season preview. This preview will analyse the top riders (so new players can catch up on the fantasy world easily) and the teams for the next season.
Until then, I'll have to sit quietly and wait

Not sure if I actually apply with the second rider since there's quite a number of entries already.
Name: Stan Van Overberghe
Nationality (region): Belgium, Flanders
Date of Birth: 7.5.1992
Height: 1.84
Weight: 80
Specialty: True Flandriennes - races traditionally strong in Benelux races
Weakness: Hot tempered - from aggressive racing to sometimes shadowy moves, though not exactly rulebreaking behavior, he doesn't make racing to his rivals easy, "all part of cross"
Biography: Stan has been a solid rider in the past years, making a name for himself in the U23 World Cup events. His best result last year was at the World Championships, in most other events he got beaten by the likes of Goldenberg, Markson & Renoir. In earlier years Vague, Schiltz were among the guys he lost too. This earned him a bit the reputation of being a determined, hard worker but not quite talented as others.
Maybe a bit as a surprise came the signing of Van Overberghe then to the public since he looked like a guy who have had enough fun in the U23 events but just wasn't good enough to make it to the pros. In his last possible year maybe, Topsport Vlaanderen has reacted to the recent departures and signed him.
Whilst racing U23, Stan was often getting into conflicets and quite loudly in the races, but remarklably quiet before and after the races. Asked about this, Van Overberghe explained that the competition most of the time just gets the better of him and that he sinks into some rage racing mode. He doesn#t have any quarrel with other riders and usually leaves the mics to people with stronger opinions. Though still quite young at the age of 24, Stan Van Overberghe has been racing for multiple of years in the junior and U23 ranks, alreadsy collecting quite some racing experience and racing smarts. However, he hasn't been fortunate with wins now. He is eager to prove his worth and quality in racing, for now he is happy that he can try his luck in the pro ranks with Topsport.
Stats:
Bike Handling (technical): Medium
Sand: Medium
Uphill: Medium
Cobblestones: High
Sprinting: Low
Explosiveness: Low
Flat (TT/riding hard): Medium
Power: Medium
Running: Very Low
Snow/Ice: Medium
Jumping: Low

Accepted, of course So potentially no return for the mud king? Maybe the call of the road is too strong for him (rather the paycheck) |

We're exactly at 50 riders now. And counting (optimistically), and hoping that all new entries will be regular/active posters, a potential of 32 "alive" riders, meaning active riders or controlled by an active player! |

Wow, good stat, very encouraging number, possibly more than even at the start of the game
Does that include our friend Felix Urnschriber by any chance ?
