Regarding Youtube comments changes and the current state of anything Google at this point. This will be much less ranty then my other Google posts.
I know. Google is the big bad company now that it always pretended to be the opposite of and against. And it knows people will use Youtube so now make them get money from other ways. It's not ethical.
As far as the old Yahoo comments type comments, some things are okay, like the collapsible unlimited posts are nice, but I can see trolling coming from all of those. And the Google plus type stuff. Everything just seems un-user friendly and easy since the comments from cosmic panda and before, where nobody needed a plus 1 or you avatar, they were compact, simple, and easy (easier) to get through.
Google just doesn't care. I feel like they change things to see us rage, like they are all trolls. Eventually you just have to give up. I am not going to be able to fight anymore. They just laugh,. So even though things are for worse, I've learned to try to embrace them. And it works to some extent. I just wish Youtube would iron out bugs and edit what they have instead of a springing a new thing on us every few months to see our reactions.
So screw you Google. But I have no choice but to use you user unfriendly crap. You and your layout changes make me hate you. You are the most evil company in the world, because you not only don't care about your customers, but like seeing them unhappy. With layouts, channels, and now comments. But guys, just sign the petition and try to deal with it, because I doubt Google are listening. The feedback section does not work unless you like bots so just try to deal with it.
Edit: BTW,I feel that as far as spam goes we are actually doing well here. We have averaged 3 month long Cafes for the past 3 times and we have passed the 3 month mark only 2/3 of the way through the thread. 4 1/2 months ain't great but that's an improvement.

Do I have a choice? Everything I have is through Gmail basically, and I need to use Youtube to watch and make videos. I won't use anything else, but I never used anything else anyway, not ever search. Besides, 1 person out of a billion does nothing. they are already rich. They are like I said, the big corporation that doesn't care about there customers, which is what they shaped there image in the early-mid 200s to be against.
I signed the petition. I've boycotted Google products. I've ranted on the forums. I've sent feedback. It does nothing. Nothing at all.
And as far as they are concerned they already made that mess. There is not a single Gootube user who can both do things on Gootube and not be on G+.

Well. I have a separate G+ that I use to chat with friends, and my youtube account is different. So I have two G+'s and two YT accounts for one email address, which oh by the way, is a yahoo account registered for Google Accounts. lol

@bbl: You're the only person I remember who constantly reminds people they're spamming. Really? Daily is not that sort of community that is very strict on spam, if you compare to some other forums. You know jseadog isn't really a spammer, he just wants to get a post out about his story. A lot of people maybe only visit Pedro and the Stories section, so they might not have known.

Just like any major corporation all it cares about is the bottom line, profit. Google makes money through advertisements. Every time a person clicks an ad they make money. Plus they make people pay to advertise on their sites, more income. To increase the chances of the user clicking the advert they use your personal data to tailor the adverts to your generate profile. By combining their services (namely, Search, Gmail, YT and G+) they can generate the best profile, and hence the best targeted adverts.
Part of the issue with Google is how they collect this profile, and then what they do with said profile once it's put together.
The problem is how big Gmail and YT are. Gmail is one of the leading email services, but it is easy enough to use a different one, it just takes some time to shift around your various accounts etc.
YT is different. The next biggest video sites are Vimeo and DailyMotion. Vimeo especially is undergoing pretty good growth at the moment. But it is far short of the critical-mass needed to see a serious shift in user numbers. Plus as soon as the slide starts to come expect Google, or some other similar firm, to step in with some cash and take it over.
Corporations have all rights of the individual, but none of responsibilities.... It's a scary thought...
Also Google is fucking straight up evil! You know Google Earth and Maps? The basic program used in Earth, and user submitted content platform in Maps were both bought off the CIA... Yep, the CIA owns the basic program for Earth. All the data people input into Google Earth can easily go straight to the CIA... The government never stole the information, we freely gave it to them...

With Google, everything is forced, because they know you'll give in and use it anyway. A strain to you means money for them. But sometimes I wonder if they already have so much money that they just like watching users suffer.

Microsoft is evil, but it tells you it's evil up front.
Google is cheap evil. It's do the easy thing, not the right thing, evil. It pretends it's not evil, and it makes it worse.
Then my other hate Apple is virus evil. Not evil in itself, but brainwashes people to do evil for it.
The thing currently with Google is that it doesn't really know what it's doing. It wants to bring all it's various strands together and link them up. But not enough people use G+ to make it a reality. Facebook is saving us... odd thought.
It's linked your sign ins, which i actually like. Easy to switch between Gmail and YT for example. As well as only needing one account for both.
But it wants to include G+ into things. But G+ is just kind of shit. If G+ was functionally useful, well designed etc. there would be no issues. But it's so bad that no-one even thinks of moving away from FB. And until that happens Google will continue to try and mess around with layouts and features until it hits gold. It's a phase, like puberty, that Google is just going through right now. It's discovering hair in new places. It's voice is breaking. And it get aroused by poor optimization. We are just going to have to wait 3-4 years until it finishes this phase of growth...
I actually like G+, just because it is not Facebook. But I think a couple of months ago they radically changed the layout of G+, now it is not as god as it used to be, but I still use it.
The thing about G+ is that it's only half of a social media network, nowhere near the features of Facebook. However, Google's goal is that with the incredible amount of people that use their search engine, the G+ notification bell is right next to it, so you don't have to actually go out of your way to "purposely" spend time on social media. Usually you just look at a few posts and comment/share, etc.
