I've said it before in here Sky looked into the possiblity of Betancur but it was too pricey at this point in time due to him still having a contract something ike 400,000 plus to buy him out plus an increased wage for him, i think his contract is out next year and Sky will be in for him from what i've been told. |

I noticed one thing from that post: too pricey. How can a team like Sky doesn't have enough money? |

Still get a certain budget each year it's not an unlimited pot of money that people seem to think! |

Hagen's super important Tour of Norway wins cost several millions per season

Yes, after they get rid of EBH next year there will be a big name coming, such as Betancur and / or a big classic name.

Sky really need a great GC contender to replace Rigo Uran so that Froome can do the tour and another rider does the Giro and the Vuelta. Henao just isn't good enough and Froome needs Porte.
Does anyone agree?
If you do who do you reckon they will get?
I want the 1 of the young Colombians, Quintana or Betancur
What about Horner? He fits Sky's anti-doping policy perfectly

No point in having someone to lead them at the Vuelta when their training only works untill July.

Indeed, agree with this. However, there's still more room for improvements, perhaps w/ other teams?

99% sure alex was being sarcastic - EBH has gone considerable lengths backwards since joining Sky. |

lol, I didn't get the humor. EBH is a strong rider in every race. But his main job was to be a domestique. Nonetheless he can still win some week long race.

EBH should be winning San Remo or Liege instead of leading the peloton over the first climb on an Alpe stage

Double Vuelta stage winner Warren Barguil claims he's had offers from Astana and other teams, but says that he thinks he will stay with Argos.

He would be a fool to leave Argos at this stage in his career

These claims should be interpreted as I signed a mediocre contract, but now I've won two Vuelta stages, so give me more money or else... |

Not really. The full interview can be read there (in French) :
https://www.letele...238245.php
He says "[he] feels well there, it's a team where [he] can progress and maybe become a leader. They trusted [him] and [he] can't see [him]self betraying their trust". |
