Just did see that Bruce Springsteen is coming to Germany next year. One day after my birthday not far from here. So hopefully I get some tickets.
I know it`S not really my age, but I totally love his music.

Get tickets. Best live show I've ever seen by an unbelievable distance. Hopefully getting tickets for Paris, London/Belfast and maybe a Spanish show. Gonna drain my bank account but so worth it. |

Couldn`t agree more with your list. Maybe add Stairway to Heaven, November Rain and Bohemian Rapsody.
Classic music is far better than 90% of todays. |

My best live show I have ever seen was "Die Ärzte". A German punk rock band. Almost 5h and incredible 52 songs. For 35€!!!
Bruce Springsteen costs 109€. But I think every penny is worth it. |

I deed it seems so. But remember that we have forgotten all about bad music from the era. I bet in 30 years no one will remember the crappy music of today - only the classics (time will tell which tunes that is). And then people will go: No one makes good music in 2050 - not compared to the 2012's

Every penny and so much more.
Have seen a bit of the Arzte but I had no idea they played for so long. |

There is a fanpage with lots of downloadable concerts as mp3 or sometimes even as video file. The Ärzte know this and even allow it and won`t take money for it.
Almost every concert has more than 50 songs. Pretty awesome in especially for so less money.

Yeah, definitely that's impressive and real good value.
There are lots of great sites of that ilk for Springsteen shows as well. |

Agreed on the music. I was able to get tickts to the Boss a few years ago and it might how been the best concert I've been too no matter how old he is. It's called rock, and it's something just not appreciated in most of today's music. Another thing not appreciated in today's music usually is something called talent.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Music started going downhill fast in the 80s, if you ask me.
the late 60s were the highlights in the history of music, where we had The Doors, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Dylan, Neil Young, Jefferson Airplane (this list goes on and on), what have we today? Lady Gaga... okay... Sure hope she won't become timeless cuz I'm sick of her already |

Yeah, but I'm not saying everything today sucks. There are lots of contemporary bands still making good music, but I meant more the genres. Things became eletric (not meaning guitar, but DJs and techno etc), and that's going downhill a lot...
But sure, still great bands today. (like the Stones, oh... wait ) |

WHAT 80's music was just totally awesome (definitely depends on age though), compared to the crap that is in the charts these days |
