I kept RES low as pcmdaily DBs tend to keep it low as well and I don't want to make them too strong. Could bump that up by one though. PRL and TT are hard, they can ride solo for a while, but again I don't want to overpower them.
Yeah well, although the RES matrix is lower than the other stats - and that's the same in Cyanide's db too because RES has too big of an effect compared to other backups - those RES stats are definitely too low as well! Someone like VdP or Van Aert especially that can pull hard for long periods deserve something along the lines of 73.
I agree, but they are both still very young. With a potential 7 they will improve a lot in the first few years, so 73 might be a bit too much.
Regarding ITTs I thought since they rarely train on a TT bike (if ever) their position would be quite bad. However, I didn't check any results so I might be way off. For the prologues the position is generally less important than raw power. VdP had some great results in prologues, but 71 is probably high enough indeed. |

Which is why he has got 79 FTR
Yeah we'll be thinking about upgrading him - as stats are still in progress! - but I don't see him being much better than 72 really. 73 should be fine.

Thanks Olifardh those stats are really helpful and I'll use them as a basis for these riders when upgrading them, also I'll improve RES as Matt suggested which I agree with and look at their results in some detail as well.
Omar Fraile has already been upgraded to 72 and that's about as high as he'll go for now (unless Matt twists my arm) He doesn't really do much in GT's or week long tours in terms of GT or do that well in classics, so that means he's a good 71, 72 and 73 stat rider in both mtn and hill.
As Matt stated his main characteristic is the fighter stat which does put him in the picture for both stage victories/breakaway riders or KoM competitions. |

I'll add a few more later this week, if there's still time before you release a new pack/update

We're kind of done and will just be doing final checks soon, but thanks and if anything pops up we'll let you know.
Your end of year post-Vuelta stats many pages back were useful btw when I first started doing the stats. Thanks. |

@ Olifardh
Have incorporated most of your stats with just some minor changes. Have increased some of the RES by 2 or more points on most of the riders as well. Also I like the use of the high DH you've given as it's a stat that is often overlooked.
Question though, the 59 hill you gave Sven Vanthourenhout is correct, as it seems a lot lower than all the other riders there? |

Vanthourenhout has heavily declined over the years, his big road results are from 2003 (3rd NC RR) and 2008 (2nd NC RR). And he never took a hill decently either. In cyclocross his best days are over as well, he struggles for a top 20 these days. So I just keps his sprint stats on a decent level and declined everything else.

Ok have put him at 59 hill as requested. |

Added a few requested riders and upped res and mo according to the comments (that I agreed with). Also a few smaller changes after checking some results again. Let me know if you want any more riders added.

I've noticed that you made quite a few changes there and have edited them but was more conservative on the mtn edits. I kind of liked the idea that these riders had average mtn stats but with high dh stats.
The issue is that these CC riders have little recent history in mtn stages and if they do get some good mtn stages in the future they can always be increased for a stats update pack. |

Van der Poel definitely has the physique to become a great climber, that is if he focuses on it at some point. But he's definitely too young still to say where his development will go; potential is limitless tho.
