I feel like it's safe to answer your question with 'yes'. To explain why I feel that way I included a list of his major results with us since joining in 2018 *.
Thanks for the detailed answer! Also looks like the good signings continue this summer

Thank you both for the kind words. Happy my trial-and-error process has resulted in a valued lay-out.

Wow! Fantastic layout. Must have taken you a lot of time only for this post.
Also, 2006 route. Let's see if the race is also weird, and someone wins from a big breakaway

Quite a startlist with Froome & Pinot for Sky and Landa & Contador for Movistar. Hopefully they end up going against each other respectively blocking each other rather than helping one another, and thereby opening up some space for Ruralvia. Vamos Guerreiro!

Not to mention Tinkoff with Aru, Nibali and Geraint Thomas! How good is Romain Bardet at this stage? Potential top 5 in the GC or better/worse?
Also, kudos on the great presentation! You should write a how-to article in the Tips & Tricks section

Thank you too. I'm very pleased with the preview outcome.
Also, 2006 is way before I got into cycling. Read a summary of that edition and all I can hope for is a more clean edition. We do have the #Ruben4Breakaways hashtag in case a Pereiro Sio scenario were to occur again.

Thanks a lot for that huge compliment! I took a little while but I wouldn't say hours. In fact it's just a matter of completing one single Excel sheet that can be used over and over again.

Was about to write a similar comment.
I personally rate the Alaphilippe - Aru - Gallopin - Nibali combo (Thomas is more of a cobbles specialist) the best of all teams. Movistar has a solid team as well but Sérgio Henao is aging and Dumoulin is not the climber he is in real life.
Furthermore, I believe Froome (who has only won 2 GTs) has declined too much to be more than a super domestique.
Hopefully Sky's leader Pinot will be stronger than during the latest Giro, supported by Galtier (very similar rider to Alaphilippe), Poels, Pardo (Dauphiné 4th), Valverde and Mühlberger (Montréal and Lombardia winner). Pinot's best le Tour result is a 3rd place.
This may be Contador's last chance to bag a record sixth win. He's not the best climber anymore (IMO Landa, Kelderman and Quintana are). Contador, Kelderman and Guerreiro have one big advantage, the two long time trials.
Ollie: Bardet (aged 28 now) is capable of winning a GT, but his best result so far is 6th. This year he's come 2nd in Oman and 3rd in Catalunya.
If other members are interested, I might consider sharing my 'template'.
Thanks Tamijo.
Should I keep this kind of preview for more prestigious races (GTs only was my original idea)? Should I keep on using it for stage races (excluding the climbs)?

I think the template works best for GTs since it adds some special feel to the races. For general stages, simple reports are enough imo.
Thanks for the detail insight, can't wait for the racing!

That's a fine idea. I'll reserve it for GTs and the World Championships. It's going to take a little longer before the actual racing can start though.
Fingers crossed.
