Basso has the nationality bonus as well, so 74, 75 max would be my opinion. He's done.
Wellens also one of the guys that deserves an upgrade after a strong Giro and NC TT.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I think 76 would be OK, since he will start to deteriotate in career anyway. |

I don't think the nationality bonus makes much difference, if it does I can't say I really noticed it. For example Pinot and Rolland always seem to do crap in French races.
There are a number of riders like Wellens that I've improved. I've upped him to 70 mtn as these are the type of riders that if their daily form and condition is good will get in breaks on mountain stages. |

Something needs to be done about Evan's recovery. If Martin is at 70, I see Evans at around there too now.

Kind of yes. Well you can maybe blame the fact that he basically had peaked during April, but his recovery should be in low 70's. The only thing I don't like is that your reason for lowering Evans stat is that Martin has low stat. IMO, Martin just isn't as good of a climber as everyone paints him to be. 76 max to be honest. |

The big problem with Dan Martin is that he's just a hill climber and not a proven big tour stage race rider. He once finished in the top 20 of La Vuelta and really deserves no more than 76 mtn and until proven differently his rec shouldn't be great. sadly he crashed out this Giro so we still don't know how he would've performed in this Giro when it mattered. |

I think he's proven quite a few times that 77 mtn with low recovery is fine.
And I think Evan's has proven that he can't hold in the 3rd week of a GT anymore.

Mind sharing your db? I would love to play with updated stats after Giro, but I'm too lazy make it all myself

@ Baseball well I think its obvious that Evans is now finished as a GC rider, he even proved that last year in the Tour, he just can't hack the big mountains anymore.
@Naskela Your stats are the closest to mine (in that they're less generous than some others) Even though I have Pozzovivo and Majka at 78, as 77 makes it kind of hard to challenge for a top 5 position. I think at least 78 is needed for a good GC position in the Giro.
I must be the only person though that has Quintana at 82 mtn though, as everybody has put him at 81 it seems.
@Dev PCM Daily is about to release one soon and similar to what is being discussed here.

Weird thing for me is that Poels is way better than 76, except he is sooo inconsistent... |

No, he is no way better. Every rider has his good days, so giving him rating of 76 or 77 that would allow him to battle for top 10 in GT is more than enough. |

You saw him at Zoncolan? |

That's just one good day. As there's no "consistency" in PCM, I can only agree with I_Mayo. He's no where near 77MO level.

Well these stats will also carry over to PCM 14 where you remember outsiders can do very well on a good day, so we can now afford to give the inconsistent rider the lower stats and they can still get realistic results.

He's atleast 77 MO in my opinion. Except for one day where he lost the GC at the Stelvio he has been with the best everyday. He's a pure climber. |

I actually think that he might deserve 77 like I stated above, but comments like "you saw him in Zoncolan?", won't make it. I saw him at Val Martello, so giving "way more" than 76 as Timo suggested, which would be what 80 ?????, just doesn't seem logical to me at all. |
