The 3rd place finisher today is Ken Hanson
Euskatel slowly turning into a sprinter team?

Impressive indeed. However since this race began in 2005, the winner is yet to become a established top name in racing in future..

It's Finistère, you Parisian.
Gautier apparently beat Veuchelen in a two men sprint. The sprint is slightly uphill, but the whole last km is climbing, with percentages up to 10 or 12 %.
From the pictures (and the weather 200 km farther), it was raining heavily during the race.

Stuyven is a very interesting rider I think.
He was excellent already last year in the GP Wallonie.
Probably one of the next Bontrager riders to leave for a bigger team. |

Top 5 on the final stage of Vuelta a Castilla y Leon:
1. Ruben Plaza (MOV)
2. Francisco Mancebo (5HR)
3. Carlos Barbero (Euskadi)
4. J.J. Rojas (4th again)
5. Pablo Urtasun (EUS)
Plaza attacked away to take it. Francesco Lasca takes the overall for Caja Rural, which is great for them. Interestingly, Carlos Barbero was in the top 10 of all three stages. He turns 22 in just a couple of weeks and could be someone to watch out for from the Euskaltel youth program.

Rojas likes the number 4 even more than Jurgen Van den Broeck does. |

Indeed. I forgot, how old (young) is he again? Hope he turns into the new, maybe improved even, Mark Cavendish!
Ewan is much more versatile than Cavendish, once he gives up the track career he will be top notch
