I heard on radio that 40% of pro riders have asthma . They all have a medical sheet to use salbutamol

A condition that really leads itself to professional endurance sport

Yeah I mean look at how bad Petacchi's Asthma was, He had to spend over 10 minutes with his inhaler just to make it through a stage.

It was sooooooo obvious that nothing would happen. Wake up UCI, you're being fooled again by those cheaters! |

I would like to have UCI, WADA, ASO or what so ever "black book"..and then retest 2006 FC Barcelona , Real Madrid blood samples.. Is that to much to ask? |

yes. FIFA's anti-doping is not up to standards, and even then, the ban is a couple of matches. Football doesn't go hard enough on the dopers, actually, most sports don't.

Uhm, I'm afraid that what you're asking for is pretty impossible Guido. Just keep in mind that Armstrong's being "protected" because of the impact that a positive of such a "superstar" would have in cycling, specially in the US. We're talking about millions(?).
Then, just remeber how many money football moves. Both FC Barcelona and Real Madrid have a budget of 400+ millons for the 2009-2010 season. So, impossible to catch them.
And I don't even mention the mediatic pressure against any kind of sanction to those teams.
Oh, and the current coach of the FC Barcelona, Josep Guardiola, was positive for nandrolone while playing in Italy. He's yet to receive a sanction. |

That is even though CONI has been trying hard ever since to get him banned! And Barcelona and Real Madrid has the money to pay them self out of trouble, it ain't that expensive for teams like that to know when the doping control is coming by etc.

When you get down to it though, doesn't make much difference to cycling if footballers dope.
Generally, the more money involved with something, the greater the motivation and competition to get ahead and succeed.
Anyway, I can sleep easy tonight knowing the dopers at the 2008 TdF were all caught.

Just got home. Let me be the first to comment:
"meh".
