Valverde was called to Italy, for the Operación Puerto. It will be nice to know what will he say now about those "Piti" and "Valv" blood bags.
EDIT: I hadn't seen that Lagetcher already posted the news. Anyways, I hope this time the investigation goes well.

Well, there's no reason to celebrate already. Until he actually gets a 2 year suspension, just pretend nothing happened |

In your site you have some errors:
1º Have picture of Azevedo in Pedro Cardoso
2º Aketza Peña is not suspended |

3: Its a bit optimisitc putting Valverde as suspended on 16-02-09 which is technically in the future.

I didnt know you guys were so well informed about Valverde.
I find it hard to believe that he'll be suspended (dont get me wrong I'm not defending that he's clean!)

He wasn't suspended per se. He just couldn't ride until the verdict was decided. He was considered innocent. So he's free to ride. Has been for a long time. But he couldn't find a team.
I think he retired.

I didn't like Valverde that much and since i think the Spanish riders where really lucky in the Operation Fuentes cases or that it where the Spanish Cycling komitee/court that has done a really lousy job.

My prediction
The Italians - "So, what's all this then?"
The Spaniard - "Dunno."
The Italians - "Really?"
The Spaniard - "Yes. Dunno."
Either that or he won't bother turning up. |

No, I think it will be
Italians - "Alejandro, you are being placed under arrest for your implications in Operation Puerto."
Valverde - "Well, then, I,uh, am taking over the country...yeah, thats what I'm doing"
Italians - "You'll have to wait in line, we have three different prime ministers scheduled for today, by we can pencil you in for Tuesday."
Valverde - "Okay. that will work"

that really has changed my perception about the american sense of humour
btw Valverde's reaction was really pragmatic: https://www.cyclingnews.com/news.php?i.../feb12news
I keep saying independently whatever his involvment in doping schemes that I find hard to believe he'll be suspended

And of course, it was around this time last year that the Italians were making noises about not letting him ride the Italian parts of the TdF.

Speaking of dopers and liars
Lance Armstrong has decided to part company with Don Catlin, the doctor intended to conduct an individual anti-doping programme with him during 2009. Consequently, the proposed comprehensive, individual programme will proceed under the guidance of Ramsus Damsgaard
Solid move. Nobody's more reputable than Damsgaard, right?......right?........anyone?

Looking at Catlin's 'record', I fully understand Armstrong's move. I wouldn't want to be checked by a guy who has invented several drug identification techniques - especially not if I had something to hide |

I cant think of a more reputable man than Damsgaard. Mention just one person who have kept Contador from doping himself in these times of 100% foolproof random and constant drug tests.

Exactly. The idiot Maasen had his team chase furiously and thus drop themselves. When Flecha stopped chasing (due to being dead) it was down to Gesink in the group, with Moorenhout and Flecha yo-yoing at the back of the pack...
He did have a little bit of help from a certain L'Hottelerie, who was kinda knackered/dead from several days off the front in breaks...
