But I'm glad to hear (read) your thoughts on him, provides me some valuable insights. Thanks!
I did indeed mean "too high" for his sprint stat - in the sense that PCM could consider him as a sprinter, not a late attacker. But I guess that might be the case in CT only, as sprinter fields in PCT/PT are far too strong to pick him as a favourite in a bunch sprint. I definitely didn't mean too low - for a baroudeur that's some amazing sprinter skills for sure!
I honestly didn't really see the value of a flat beast in CT, so I didn't keep Mundle (whose backups are rather weak as well), but especially Cedevita proved that it's at least worth a thought in PCT - a cheap alternative to a "real" sprinter
Both Luke Rowe and Dzamastagic were considered for late attacks this season in flat classics. Dzama at 76/78 and Rowe at 79/80, as long as the rest of the field is strong enough and the stats allign there is no such thing as too high of a sprint stat.
EDIT: put down Dzama as 78/78 instead of 76/78 mb

Why am I dragged into this ahead of PCT Amaysim (Wohler) and Popo4Ever (Varga)??

whitejersey has basically already answered it but higher Sp stats definitely work as well. Would probably be worth looking into that in more detail but i feel like a sprint stat in the mid 70 would be hugely benefitial to close out possible late attacks. Ideally I'd like to see a higher SP stat than Dversnes' 68SP but the lower OVR compared to Dzamastagic also has benefits (RDs & wage - although it obviously also needs at least one more leadout rider with higher SP stat behind Dversnes than i would need with Dzama since Dzama could be the final leadout rider while Dversnes would only ever be 3rd or 4th guy in the train for me) ...
