A strange but fun effort from Foss there. He wasn't strong enough, but it was still worth the effort.
Absolutely phenomenal report cunego!

And again! What an absolute unit of a team this merge has turned out to be. Most successful race in a Duolingo shirt this season, whatever happens in the final stage. Congrats and thanks for the opportunity Bikex!

Doffen with another great sprint, good work by him, and also nicely timed, eventhough the win looked to be within reach seeing his speed at the end.
But this Duolingo team looks unbeatable at the moment, congratulations again, Gustav and Bikex! |

Well at least Areruya is staying alert, but all about tomorrow obviously. Not going to set the bar too high with 2 minutes to Gidich and 4 mountain to Padun, but excited to see how well he can do

Although we didn't get anybody in the break, we seem to have been trying very hard. Sometimes it just doesn't work out with the chaos at the beginning of the stage. A good effort nonetheless.

We failed to get that top 10 GC for Pogi, but gap wise we weren't far off in 14th. I guess we'll try again next season
A great ride by Daniel Felipe Martinez today in the breakaway. Finishing 26th in GC is a good result. I'm sure you'll have fun with him next season Scorchio
The highlight for us was probably the podium by Groselj in the time trial.
Congrats to Padun on the overall win, fantastic performance on the last stage
And thanks to Cunego for all the nice reports

Good ride by Roman to secure the final podium spot. Padun was always going to win, and he cintrolled it in style. Great job! Aidan falling of a little, but it have happily taken 8th before the race
Thanks for some brilliant reports!

Not too shabby! Roman snatch a podium position is about what we could expect/hope for in this race. And to have an additional 8th in the GC and two stagewins from Aidan is pretty nice!
Giannoutsos unfortunately wasn't the help I had hoped for here, so fairly early we have Aidan and Roman isolated, which wasn't ideal for neither. Had Giannoutsos had a good day he could probably have made for some help for Roman and then could keep with Aidan to secure a spot or two higher in the GC. That is not really important though.
Except for Kalaba messing about in the sprints we have had a great race really.

That race was much closer than it should've been, great racing and reporting!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Bad day for a bad day for Conci but lessons will be learnt and he’ll come back stronger next season! Enjoyed the racing, the reporting and good to see a few of my riders getting involved with things. Gaudu looked pretty good for a lot of the race. Castrillo also strong. Zahiri surprisingly decent too!

A slightly dissapointing day to lose the final podium spot to Roman but well deserved from all three on top. Nice enough race with a stage win which we will remember, a brief stint in the KoM and 4th on GC. Would have been nice if our other climbers did better (may have tipped the GC scales but who knows), especially the one at Lierse who, after I dipped my toes in doing so in the HQ earlier this year, I may have to resign to Bakari memery.
Then again, he is only two spots worse off than Andy Schleck's best ever Avenir finish, so there's still time!
As always a fun race, thanks a bunch for the excellent reports cunego, and finally we were involved - a shame Areruya can't do a Padun and smash it next year but for the best in terms of the race itself in future - guess I'll have to see how Habtemichael, Fouche, Higuita et al can do, might be a throw everything at the wall approach from us Congrats to Padun and the other two podium riders, and their teams who both had brilliant races outside of them too, very cool.

Stupendous race. A shame to lose it at the end, but Padun is a deserving winner.
Thanks for an outstanding event cunego!

Gregaard and Foss made it a fun final day in the mountains, and Gregaard hangs on for a top 10 in the end. A very fun race, with some amazing reports. Thank you cunego!

I find it odd that the best result my team has got all season is from a rider, who isn't even part of my roster
But this Tour may shift the course for my ManGame odyssey - maybe find my own version of Mark Padun.

Inkelaar did what he had to on the last stage and finishes in the Top 10. A good race for him. Cherkasov with a valiant ride in the break, and although he lost out in the GC, his race was quite good too. Good race from the team overall
Tremendous reports all through cunego, amazing job!!
Congrats to Padun on the expected win, but earned in a much tougher than expected way!

Thank you for the nice coverage of the race, cunego59! Really paying tribute to some of the future stars of the game
I really enjoyed that final stage from start to finish. Sosa and Foss both did brilliant to be up front and show themselves. Very excited to see them here next year!
Also congratulations to fjhoekie on Padun's win. Definitely expected, but it still needed to be done. And it wasn't easy going into the final stage, but well done coming through there. |

We already knew we'd have to wait for next season to have a real contender in Mäder, but our boys still did a disappointing job. Except for cycleYorkshire's Williams, who came just short of winning the KoM jersey and got a Top 20 finish, which is surely good. The second cycleYorkshire rider, Cullaigh, is probably our biggest disappointment, given that the team worked really hard for him on the flat stages. But well, you can't always win...
The rest of the team was nowhere to be seen, unfortunately (except for Mäder with some unsuccessful breakaway attempts) - let's hope to improve on this next year!
Thanks for an amazing coverage to cunego, and congrats to fjhoekie on a deserved win in a tense race!

Incredible effort from Xuban Errazkin to finish second and take sixth in the GC on the final day. Had my fingers crossed for the stage win, but not quite.
Glad to have him and Simon Yates for the foreseeable future.
Thanks for the amazing report.
