Stage 5
Valencia
Last stage Mandri even has today in one star favorites list..he want to keep he's young rider jersey.
Loosli, Canada and Sébastien Minard should give up..20km. before the finish line. Mandri already looking Herrero to follow.
Mandri position is fine again..behind Milram train.Andalucía - CajaSur main sprinter Ventoso has pushed himself between them
Ventoso opens..Mandri still waiting. He maybe has even chanche to win today.
This is it..now he is butting everything out..on that moment I was thinking..Ou good he actualy will pass Ventoso.
But now..Ventoso controlling that battle all the way..But if I looked sprint podium..then another wow..Mandri has no taken any stage win..but has been most stabile sprinter. He takes sprinter jersey. This is surprise...and good one.

Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne
Second cobble race...this should be great one.
Sörensen in early breakaway attempt...suicide. Weather is great today..but race himself is pure and long suffering for riders.
Hugh break after first hill..35 riders has separated and start to make fast pace. Chavanel trying to organize chase..many favorites has in second group Cancellara, Chavanel, Devolder, Flecha etc. Silence and Highroad controlling tempo at the first group Boonen is there..thank good also Elmiger. this is gonna be great race,
And here is leading group..Silence and Highroad has noticed the opportunity to let many favorites out at race win play. Very fast speed.
Cofidis and Liquigas has organisised cahse group..they moving fast enough. Gap between leading group is around minut...many riders cant follow. First group can hope that after another km. chase group getting smaller and smaller and they have short fresh legs to be fast enough.
another drop..looks good for breakaway group. But many favorites has left in chase group..and they seems to work fine together.
Another climb..Wesemann looks grazy for my..he has energy left to atack..even when all group processing so fast all the way.
Chasers group has achived what they wanted..on cobble section they have cached front group..all starts over now.
Bert De Waele has choosed to follow Wesemann..he is in breakaway again has he was in Omloop.
Look at those Cofidis guys..they have pulling all day the chase..and now has they moved front at first group. Elmiger has difficulty to follow.
On next climb..he comes back..great job. Keep fighting..there is 50km. to go..this is gonna be hard one.
Hoste has decided..this is it..he go's. Only Gilbert can follow..this is another hit for that group.
Group nr. 2..Devolder, Nuyens , De Waele, Carlos Barredo
Elmiger go's with Flecha..this is enough kepp that up and you will get few places hire.
Heck he drops and start to look another companion to work with.
30km. to go..and now all for himself. Gilbert is leading..then comes Hoste..then Nuyens..then Devolder.
Wow Hincapie crashes with Cancellara..they must be so tyred.
And Cancellara crashing once again this time with Boonen and Flecha. Realy strange view for Elmiger who passes them. In front we see totaly exhausted Pippo
Strong ride and pure race win for Gilbert..damn it's hard to fight with other french teams. i will beat them at all 3 grand tours..
Just 41 riders getting inside time limit..they need to change something.

Gadret final race before he's spring goal Paris-Nice..he should be ready..but who knows at least he want to leave behind Velncia tour bad memories. There is riders in lineup to fight with Schumacher, Garzelli, Di Luca etc.
Ignatiev in the atack...this is badest moment what he can choose..speed is already realy fast..and we have long distance left to reach over finish line.
45km. before finish..breakaway group should give up. No surprises for today..final hill will be decisive.
And here we go..just when % going over 4..Schumacher, Gasparotto and Garzelli atack's.
Then Di luca follows..Gadret has in hard situation ..again. He was thinking that boys are a little to nervous..he waiting. but after that Di Luca move..he need to follow and now!
Gadret has moved to front at the peloton and trying to pull hard has possible..and he uses any team members who has energy left to protect him..
..and atack after that..he need to cach that first group..
he did it..on downhill he cant take a small break..and prepeare to be ready for final sprint..here we are Gadret, Schumacher, Di Luca, Gasparotto, Brutt, Garate, Bertagnolli.
Sprint starts..
Here they go..this is very fear and close. i cant predict the winner at the moment..Gasparotto is leading, Gadret is closing..but slowly fading. Di Luca and Garate at the left side..
Peloton has closing also for final corners. Bocharov has crashed....Credit Acricole leader has crashed several times at this season..
And damn once again..I have lost my photofinish shot.anyway here is results:

Stage 1
San Pedro del Pinatar - Lorca
Main goal for this tour is get Nocentini to better shape before Tirreano. Mondory for hunt mass sprint decent results.
This stage has been all the way like warm up for tour...sprint. Rabo train..and all main favorites are there. Mondory is 7th. on that train a little to far.
Bazajev pushing himself middle of Rabo duo..who want's stage win should beat Bazajev today.
Bazajev is clear..Loddo trying at left side. Mondory find's himself open lane at the right side.
Bazajev..Mondory has a little late to beat Loddo..he takes 3rd. today. Not a bad start at all.

Race for Elmiger...who slowly getting in form before cobble main events. Gadret liked to take part of it..has Elmiger helper.
I didnt expect sord of climbs..but riders seems to handle this.
And right to the action..Elmiger atacks just before end at the last cobble section..
And last climb..he must be feel great today..that is gonna be hard to get away those 4 chasers ..we got there Davis, Eeckhout, Amorison and Setjens
Downhill and also sprint has started..thsi one doesnt look good he will be suffer on last km. they definatly will got him.
Last km. started..scary moment for Elmiger..Davis passing him at the left side and Eeckhout going at right side.
Eeckhout takes race win...Davis second and Elmiger managed to keep podium place.

Not horrible with third, I find that race hard to win, but easy to podium in. |

Stage 2
Calasparra - Totana
Ok this should be first real fight..Leaders should step forward
Navarro is today breakaway rider..this is threat for rest of the peloto.
Another Astana move..this time strange one they sent Leipheimer pull the main group. Astana own also tour leader jersey..strong man in breakaway group..
Last climb...Navarro is still out there.Jaume Rovira,Ricardo Serrano,Héctor Guerra
atack's Nocentini follows.
Another wave and we have Stefano Garzelli, Castano and Igor Antón has involved now at the first group.
They caching Navarro...he is trying to follow that group..no chanche. Super 8 has clear..this is gonna be between them.
Downhill..now streight to the sprint. Nocentini had a little difficulty at the top of the climb...
looks like Liberty Seguros rider Guerra s trying something unexpected..he atacks on decent..bold move...but no result this time..
Luis León Sánchez atacks just before the sprint..smart move..Nocentini trying to follow (for me this one of the best screenshot what I ever had).
Sanchez takes stage win...pure tactic play. Nocentini fighting hard with Rovira and Serrano and collecting second place..max. result for today.
