Poor Euskaltel. Never really in the relegation fight, until the end, when they did get in it they go down.
Roy finished with his best showing and result ... now! Of course when renewals are around the corner. He must take me for a smuck: I have a memory like an elephant Roy ... memory like an elephant.

Why has Euskaltel 139 race days? Did LLS take one less when planning? If so that could#ve been the deciding one in the relegation battle with CoC.
You can have an odd number of days and not be able to fill the last due to classics costing two days, my team did it as well.
Oh damn I will be really annoyed if we drop into 5th on the last race day :/ I mean it is still a promotion spot but we have been top three all season...
Shite ending for us in china,m with Grosu injuring himself or what and Tanovitchii loosing that sweet U25 jersey and top10 in GC. Not that it matter much, but it could have been his breakthrough race.
Congrats to RBC, what a closing weeks for them. Also happy to see COC doing well and having upper hand in relegation fight. Nothing personal again st Lulemon, but ukrainian team is where my heart is.
Sad days for Euskatel really, maybe some of last years luck turning into bad luck?
Great race for Gazelle! Nice to have won the team ranking. Congrats jt! Very strong Bellis win.
This indeed takes us back into the title race. It's going to be an absolute thriller.
We bring our strongest hilly lineup of the season to the decisive race in Japan with Monfort (79), Pozzato (77), Furdi (77), Kangert (77), Hofland (76), Konrad (75), Weening (75) and Oss (74). Hope this counts for something.
And whatever happens, please don't report Japan, roturn. I fully trust you and truly believe Bazzana and our off-day in Milano-Torino were a coincidence that both happened on the first play-trough. But I'm afraid a third time would plant a seed of doubt and I want to avoid that at all cost.
It's like with football refs. Everyone knows they are professionals and perfectly capable of objectively officiating their own country, but still they are not allowed to do so. I think this is mainly done to protect the refs from suspicion, more than to protect the other team from possible unfairness.
