They're riding on new Bianchi TT bikes which had some good results according to the riders.
Can't remember how long they've been riding on the new ones though, I think they did already in the Giro(also explaining Kruijswijk's good time over there I guess).
At least it makes sense that they stepped up their TTs this year considering last year's bikes were crap, I believe
