Why can't Kittel be king of the sprints? He has been injured for most of 2015 and was definitely the best sprinter in 2014.
He was undoubtedly the best sprinter in 2014, arguably 2013 as well (best train too?) but his 2015 season has been a total non-event, although yes it has been through illness. Simply because of that, I think it warrants knocking a couple of points off his sprint/accel stats. We can't assume he's the best after not racing in so long.
Cav, Kristoff top dogs this year, the likes of Bouhanni/Coquard getting better and better. Those 4 are the men to beat, although the Italians have looked good (Viviani, Nizzolo, Modolo). And Sagan, Matthews, Degenkolb on the hilly stuff. |

Agree to disagree, I guess.
Simply because he was injured doesn't mean we can't call him the fastest man on wheels when he's on topform.
He will also be 83SP in the Daily DB.

Fair enough sprint - 1 less than default?
I've thought of other questions about sprinting/climbing and stats - I'll try and find a relevant existing thread or start a new one. |

why when I take stages with cobblestones from old PCM the game reads them as normal stages? |

I think there is a new (maybe not for this year though) way to detect the sectors in the stage editor. You can also set the name and difficulty for each sector in the editor. If you export the old stages again using new editor the game will recognise it as cobbled. All the sectors will be autamotically set to 3 star rating unless you change it manually. |

It's one of the new features of the AI. To avoid it you need to use a lower effort.

As I' started to playareer mode, t seem ok but a little shaky.
First, can someone confirm if equipment actually effects stats at all, cause otherwise I'm gonna ignore it like every other PCM.
Also, progression is very weird. Within a month of my Garmin creer, Formolo has increased to 77 mtn, and Hesjedal has declined to 76 mtn, even though he hasn't hit his age of decline.
And while I like the Dev team concept, it's a shame that you can't actually race any of their races and such.

Have anyone notice that if you play carrier mode if you try to change your teams line up Before 3d race.
if you try to change team leader or sprinter or something else. 80-90% of times the loading is stop function and you have to shout down the program. Then the user-friendy on this game is a big big minus it feels like it get worser every year. But as a crazy manager lover I cant resist it

Ride smart, always control your effort and positioning. Dot the hills/mountains, watch your heartbeat

Another thing I noticed is that the days condition affects the performance quite a lot. Tbh though I haven't played PCM since 2011 so it is probably not a new feature.
It seems like this together with the new progression system makes the game a bit more unpredictable, which is good. However, the quick simulation seems as predictable as ever unfortunately. |

Yeah, i believe that was also the case in 2014 edition already, at least in sites man-game we can see the growing importnace of the daily form. It is a shame in my eyes, as we cant influence it, but other would probably tell you that it is great, because it makes it unpredictable.

I jumped from PCM 13 to 15'. Gotta say they havent improved the gameplay at all. The AI is still the same and do stupid attacks, textures, roads, buildings, player faces - the same.
Biggest difference: It works smoother than 13 which means the game experience is better (plays with the same device)
Career mode has changed a lot but in overall i like the changes. Still looking forward to make a u23 team. Is it good?

The game runs more smoother than 2014 version and my laptop can run it a lot cooler. that is a big advantage for me! |

I disagree. I also jumped from PCM 13 to 15. I just rode my first stage (Mt. Baldy stage in ToC) and I'm moderately satisfied. The first obvious improvement is that riders are not getting blocked left, right and centre (what was a huge issue in 13' ) and they can move up the peloton more smoothly.
Also leaders didn't attack as early as they usually did in PCM 13 and the peloton didn't stop riding. Maybe that's because only 4 riders attacked. But nonetheless, the stage was more realistic than I would expect it to be in PCM 13. Need to play more stages to find out if I was lucky or if it is a standard.
My first impression is positive and I enjoyed this one stage I've just played more, than I enjoy PCM 13. Add the "Be a pro" mode I haven't tried yet, and I think I won't be disappointed with the game. The thing I'm most worried about is development of riders in career mode.

Played a bit more of the career. The AI often plays out very well but has some dreadful moments - guys breaking off other sprint trains sitting up and taking out your sprinter/leadout man, peloton surrendering the entire GC on a short tour if you dont chase a break if you're in yellow. Still some good races - the Strade Bianchi played out beautifully (although I lost with Kwiatkowski )
Yet to see if the infuriating "team up to beat the player" cobbled classic AI is still present from PCM14. |
