Class ride by Bardet, joy to see him climb. I wrote a couple of days ago that I don't see any current french youngster winning le Tour... well, uh maybe I've been quite wrong on that part in regard to Bardet (which I'd welcome), but time will tell.
intXausti in some real nice Kelderman-remembrance Post-Giro form. TVG needs new set of sunglasses, they look super ugly. SKY with some massive firepower in that climb, probably makes Bardet performance all the more spectacular.

Froome is the weirdest rider I have ever seen. So he can attack at god knows what watts after he has ridden at a crazy cadence but then cracks to TVG. Then he cant hang on the steep stuff but rides himself back to the greatest climbers in the world after they leave him.
This is all after just being the greatest climber of all time...
I know he is dirty but why the fuck does he ride like that is my only question.
It makes ZERO sense. |

What has Bardet shown that makes him better than Pinot? |

Well ya, they dont give a fuck about this race. They care about Le Tour.
It is a lot more realistic that they suck now an then ride great in the tour than ride great now AND in the tour like SKY will.

Tony Martin solo in front after all attacks so far weren`t successful.
45,4km in first hour of racing!
Rodriguez and Alaphillipe apparently already dropped.
Must have been a crazy start today. |

Reminds me of the last stage from Dauphine last year - what a great race is it. Costa, Nibali and Valverde have distance Martin and Gallopin on Rousset, but they will probably catch up.
Live pics, please. |

Kiserlovski to take 3 minutes in 10k's and win the stage. Very reasonable tactics from Tinkoff there!

Thats just nonsense, Nibali was simply just tacking a big turn on the uphill section. If he didnt want to, he could just stop or ask Valverde (or Gallopin AND Costa who btw also are in the GC) for help.
Valverde-wheelsucking is so freakin old. |
