The fact that henderson rode for SKY for two years.
Anyway, you dont speak against your employee, that would need much much bigger balls then saying that about other teams rider. But i see your point Spilak...

Point: Henderson wasn't tweeting accusations at Froome when he called in sick for Tirreno

I'm pretty sure he just pointed out that's Hendo on the picture, not that the picture itself is shocking or smth.

I'm not sure I would want to live in your ideal world. So anyone should be able to spout unsubstantiated nonsense and destroy people's reputations without repercussions?

In so far as Aru rides for Astana, probably the dirtiest team in the WT, so is about as open a target to speculation as anyone. Yes in an ideal world speculation about such a rider (same could apply to someone like Landa as well as loooong list of other riders) and banned practices would be possible. Guys like Aru may very well want to portray themselves as the clean future but he has a lot of work to do to prove that image. Equally i'm trying not to generalise and bash on Italy but his 'mentor' in Nabil and the rest of the Italian contingent at Astana quite a distance from beacons of cleanliness.

They are portrayed as the dirtiest team.

False accusations by another rider won't help.

No false accusations don't help and Henderson wasn't smart with that and baseless comments shouldn't be made. Perhaps i made my point badly so let me clarify:
Henderson made a boo-boo but only because he specifically tagged/mentioned Aru.
Imo the best way for Aru/Astana to combat the comment would be to release his clean Bio passport data, not to sue Henderson (let's be honest, Astana doesn't need help keeping it's bad image and Aru can portay a clean one in better ways than suing).
Don't particularly care if Greg is being hypocritical, hard to find riders without connections so i guess we should just discount all of them unless they hold a bag of said riders doped blood.

One thing for sure is that going out on twitter with that is a fucking stupid idea by Henderson and it doesnt even matter how strong is your evidence you dont go to social media with that. It doesnt help anyone. |

I'm sure Greg, who left Sky at the end of 2011, was involved in that But yes Aru isn't the first rider to be dropping out of races to sickness late on, and neither are Sky, and both will be far from last

Froome isn't a classic contender, did he even race?
Nibali went up the road in Amstel because he doesn't have as much punch on the short climbs as other riders, so he went from further out (plus, Nibali doesn't train much during the winter, he isn't quite in form yet).
It's just that these races don't suit them. |

Froome crashed in FW at least. Also I think I saw him at the AGR.
