Great team: Bic
He left his stretch for even ten years between 1967 and 1974, yet has been able to win a Grand Boucle and one Vuelta a España. We are talking of Bic, the French team sponsored by the company known for the pen but producing stationery. The Bic was founded in 1967 with the name of Bic-Hutchinson. It is directed by Raphael Geminiani and built around Jacques Anquetil, who brings from his former team, the Ford-Gitane, some trusted friends like Jean Stablinski. There is also the winner of the Tour '66, the transalpine Lucien Aimar, who gradually become the leader of the team. In 1969, another purchase of cry, the winner of the Tour of the year before, the Dutchman Jan Janssen. In 1970 comes a 25 year-old Spaniard, Jesús Luis Ocana Pernia. Lives since when it boy in southern France and earned the nickname "the Spaniard of Mont-de-Marsan." It is precisely that year winning the Vuelta by Ocaña, who also runs numerous Tour, now winning stages and revving, now retreating mysteriously. From 1969 to 1972, the Tour is Merckx but in '73 the Belgian races (winning them) only Vuelta and Giro. The tour is so Ocaña, according to the Spanish after Bahamontes to establish itself in the French territory. Ocaña won six stages and wears the yellow jersey for eighteen days, from Gaillard in Paris. Will trim 15'51 "Bernard Thévenet and 17'15" José Manuel Fuente. In '73 there's also the Portuguese Joaquim Agostinho in Bic that in a year will close its doors. Had among its ranks many samples, from Anquetil in Ocaña, Aimar to Jan Janssen, through the Luxembourg Johny Schleck (the father of two brothers who will be famous) and for Spanish José Miguel Echavarri, who would have had to do later with the first to win five Tours in a row, Miguel Indurain. For the record, Ocaña took his own life on May 19, 1994, tormented poor health and suffering from frequent depression, shooting himself in a gunshot. It was one of the few to battle with Eddy Merckx.

Great team: SKY
About the criticism, who is bored by the tactics deliberately soporific, who recognizes the great merits for those two years now in the land of Albion bring the yellow jersey. You could not conclude this section with Team Sky. Directed by Dave Brailsford, was born relatively recently (the announcement of the entry of British Sky Broadcasting as the main sponsor was given February 26, 2009), from the very beginning has tried to build a base of British riders. The purpose, as well as to create excellence, is one: win the Tour in five years. In September 2009, arriving Edvald Boasson Hagen, Thomas Lövkvist, Kurt Asle Arvesen, Simon Gerrans, Juan Antonio Flecha, Kjell Carlström, John-Lee Augustyn, Greg Henderson, Lars Petter Nordhaug and Morris Possoni followed then by Chris Sutton and Bradley Wiggins from Garmin- Slipstream, Michael Barry and Ben Swift. The first year of settlement, but without forgetting to take the pink jersey with Bradley Wiggins. 2011 sees the British point of Wiggo very own, which is no coincidence as part of the tour leader, but it comes out (finally) after a fall. Then it goes to the Vuelta a España for a few days as the roja. Paign in there, you discover the true side of Froome, the winner, although the Vuelta is Cobo and Sky are 2nd and 3rd (with Froome and Wiggins, respectively). The 2012 may not be the year of bankruptcy: just to start comes the fresh world champion Mark Cavendish (but after one season will end at Omega Pharma, too expensive to work for a sprinter when you fight for a general GT), Tour and London Olympics are the goals more. The Grande Boucle dominates Wiggins, Froome with 2nd and only Nibali to impensierirli (but just a little), the Olympics comes a gold (with Wiggo) and a bronze (which belongs to Froome) in the time trial. The Vuelta is to forget but it does not matter at that point. 2013 sees a marked change: Wiggins goes to the Giro for a new challenge, Froome is the only captain in the Tour. The first fails the objective (but Rigoberto Urán is still 2nd), the second centers it great. Not only are the leaders in the Sky: people like Kiriyenka, Thomas, Kennaugh, Boasson Hagen, Siutsou, Doors, Rogers, Knees and so are critical to success in a GT. Successes that, according to the trend of Team Sky, are not intended to stop tonight on the Champs Elysees.

Great champions
Oscar Freire
article by Cyclo Passion
Oscar Freire Gomez (born 15 February 1976 in Torrelavega, Cantabria) is a Spanish cyclist, specializing in sprints, professional from 1998 to 2012.
He won over 70 races in his career, including four stages of the Tour de France and seven of the Tour of Spain. He also won the green jersey in the Tour de France 2008. But Freire shows especially large one-day races. Revealed to the public on the occasion of his victory, to everyone's surprise, the Road World Championships 1999, he made this his favorite test running, winning two more times, in 2001 and 2004. He also notably won three Milan-San Remo, and once the Vattenfall Cyclassics, Gent-Wevelgem and Paris-Tours.
As one of the greatest sprinters of his generation, able to shine also on more difficult terrain, however, his career has been marked by major health concerns, which earned him long downtimes.

One of my dreams, in long talks with my father (for a few seasons of professional team mechanic Italian Arbos with runners Primo Volpi and Fritz Schaer at the time of Fausto Coppi), was to compare samples from different ages and Pro Cycling Manager I gives the opportunity to compare the various competitions such as the legendary racers discussed Texan Lance Armstrong, the cannibal Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault Breton, Norman Jacques Anquetil and champion Fausto Coppi.
The work was not yet finished.
