I doubt it, assuming he means that he has been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: https://en.wikiped...e_syndrome
As it says, no one really knows why it starts in people but it is viral.

Impey cleared on doping charge.
"Shortly before the pharmacist served Impey, he had dispensed Probenecid to another customer. His hands had contaminated Impey’s capsules. At the hearing, till slips showing time and purchase from the pharmacy convinced the hearing Impey had not ingested the substance on purpose"

Definitely the best laughs of my life. Always trusted in Impey, very nice guy, but after this story I have some doubts... |

Sorry officer I was drinking orange juice in the pub the barman must have had beer on his hands, hence why you've caught me driving under the influence |

You are overexaggerating kida, to be under influence of alcohol you need to drink at least one 0,5 l beer, for a positive doping test even some contamination from hands may be enough.
The whole situation seems really strange, but I think Impey is trustable.

That's the point he's making. There is no logical and scientific way that that sort of micronanoscopic pesudocontamination could lead to a positive test.
Pharmacists don't really touch the pills, most of the times they just touch the package. Even if they needed to touch the pills, they would have to wear gloves. And even in the remotest chance that Impey could have been contaminated, it would have taken a large dose to overtake is hepatic and renal systems' capacity to eliminate the drug.

"According to The Star, the pharmacist had dispensed Probenicid to another customer just before servig Impey, and that “his hands had contaminated Impey’s capsules”. At Thursday’s hearing, the pharmacy produced cash register receipts showing time and purchase information to confirm the story."
The barman admitted he had beer on his hands... |
