A totally different subject : has anyone ever had troubles getting his package from a vendor abroad ?
I've ordered an item (Powertap power meter) from a vendor on ebay, with 99 % of positive opinions last October. Long story short : it's never been delivered.
It seems it was duly shipped after I paid for it, but never made it past custom clearances. From there on I sent emails and went and phoned to the post, customs, postal customs, US Postal (it was sent from the USA), all of which told me that if there was a problem with the customs, the original sender would be contacted, in no case it'd be the buyer (me).
So, after 90 days at the customs, the item was declared unclaimed, and shipped back.
It wasn't possible to track it afterwards.
To track it nonetheless, I contacted US Postal, but they answered a written letter and a form should be sent to them, by the sender, who told me they'd do it the next day.
After four emails asking for news I finally got an answer (this night), with what looks like a screenshot of the package tracking (at a time when the package was stuck at the customs), telling me they've closed the business and that I should have gone to the post office and sorted that out there. There's nothing they can do or will do. (you've got to read it to believe it)
I've contacted ebay, their site says they answer in three days max. I guess the next step is filling a lawsuit to get a refund or another item ? |

It was probably either lost in our Postal service(the worst on the earth) or stolen by an attendant. Both happen all the time in America, so the best choice would be to ask the seller for a refund/replacement as the item never arrived. Also check with Royal Mail (or whichever postal service of Europe) to see if it was lost there.

I hate you. I have 4 more exams, and possibly more in 2 weeks time if I fail any of those 4... After that I have to work for 4 weeks and then I finally have holiday, for 1 entire week before school starts again...
