Some of the best time-trial riders couldn´t beat C.Meyer´s best time... until the best french tt´s came out..

J.C.Peraud (ALM) sets a new best time in 33´46"...

T.Ludvigsson (GIA) equals Peraud´s time at 1st check but fades on the climb... +3" at the top..

F.Kessiakoff (AST) comes with +12"..

Our squad leader T.Pinot looses +1´44"..

Then came S.Chavanel (IAM).. he just blows all competition with 33´33"..

P.Sagan (CAN) looses his lead.. +49"..

With 12 kom pts on his account, L.Mangel decides to go for a solo ride at the start..

Still before the Int.sprint, J.El Fares(LPM), C.Le Mével(COF) and S.Pirazzi(BAR) attack..

They catch up with Mangel just in time for the first kom sprint... Mangel manages to defend himself from his agressors and takes the 10pts..

Road up for the 3rd kom sprint with Mangel still fighting for his goal against stronger opponents..

27kms to go... there´s movement in the peloton.. it´s T.Pinot and F.De Greef(WGG) who are attacking.. unfortunally the pack will get them back again with 16kms to go..

2 kms later, S.Clarke(OGE) and P.Sagan attack... G.Visconti is trying to get away too..

The front duo reach the final km..

Behind them comes R.Nocentini, G.Visconti, J.El Fares and P.Fédrigo... 33" behind comes the pack..

The fight for stage win is on..

Sagan seems to know this will be enought to get yellow back..

S.Clarke wins..

P.Fédrigo sprints for 4th place..

We start the report today with 58kms to go and with Cofidis going agressive into the break.. J.Coppel & C.Le Mével go with R.Nocentini from AG2R.. at the front is already a group of 6 riders with M.Delage.. P.Weening(OGE) with L.Ten Dam(BEL) and a little behind G.Visconti(MOV) are trying to get away too.. We stay calm in peloton for now..

After the Int. Sprint, both groups get together.. peloton rides fast at this time and is close...

Later on, we reach the 20kms mark.. only 3 riders survived from the breakaway..

C.Gautier(EUC) leads with J.Coppel still wanting to get away..

C.Gautier comes in first at the kom sprint.. we moved to the front with F.Mourey wich rides with Coppel behind..

While Coppel decided to wait for the peloton, Mourey and Gautier get away downhill..

Less then 5kms to go, W.Barguil(GIA) is catching up with the front..

P.Fédrigo is coming behind leading T.Pinot...

Pinot starts to push hard.. Fédrigo is empty now.. but he too keeps pushing..

2,5kms..T.Pinot attacks.. only Barguil at the front..

Last km... both riders are tired.. will they manage to keep the distance to the rest?..

Even being tired, Pinot gives all to catch up with Barguil..

.. but it´s too late..

W.Barguil wins..

.. but one thing i´m sure... nobody will take this great 2nd place away from Pinot..

Fédrigo and Mourey did great too.

1st attackers of the day.. L.Mangel is here and will fight for kom jersey.. J.Gadret(MOV), E.Barbin(BAR), J.Tschopp(IAM), A.Lutsenko(AST), J.Simon(COF) and S.Langeveld(GRS) are the other ones..

1st Kom sprint... without having any fight from the others, L.Mangel wins the Tour de Mediterraneen KOM jersey..

Great news from the front, bad news from behind... T.Pinot falls down... he manages to regroup with the pack but we don´t know how bad the injuries are..

We reach the final climb... P.Sagan, R.Nocentini, S.Chavanel and L.P.Nordhaug try to get away.. we manage to bring them back.. F.Mourey is doing a great job there..

At the front, J.Gadret leads...

.. and wins this last stage.. we finish with Sagan´s group..
