Come on, he wasn't that ridiculous. Friggin' Peter Velits podiumed in that Vuelta, ffs
By the way, I just realised that Zubeldia is in this race. Given his consistency, the fact that he had an easy Tour while many of the other contenders are tired, I'd say he's a serious podium threat.
Radioshack aren't going for him though.
Zubeldia doesn't need any help. And if they have to choose between him and Horner, more likely they choose for Zubeldia if he has a contract with the team for next year |

Was gonna say the same thing about both really
Zubeldia no more than Top 5 for me though.
Also, this thread should be stickied now, not the Week one thread.

In an Interwiev 2 days ago Team Radioshack Sport Director said Zubeldia will have a free role due to his consitence riding GT so we might not see Zubeldia working for him, even Kiserlovski was mean to have a free role until todays stage, the next days he will be working for Horner and Zubeldia.
So the question about Mollema, Kreuziger and maybe Ten Dam doing a top 5 - top 10 has an asnwer but not fans did see that coming.
Horner must riding on real good stuff maybe thats the reason why Radioshack cant afford to race Continental races.
Konig been just amazing that must be the best year ever for Czech Republic.
Basso is still far away from podium but better than must of us expected, even attacking

Uh, how I didn't remember that? Btw, Velits performance on that Vuelta seems similar to a rider, De Gendt. I wonder how many similirities we can find more about them. |

Great to see NetApp work so hard yesterday, and for Konig to finish off for them. |

Well at least Velits can still ride a top 30 in the Tour, while De Gendt gets allready dropped after a few hills. |

Paolini shows once again what a brilliant descender he is. The rest of Katusha can barely follow him.

Does anyone know if Moreno is in line for the Spanish WC team? Because with this form he could well be challenging their huge potential list of riders for leadership there.

So is it safe to say now that Katusha are working for Moreno in this race?
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Wait until the mountains. Too early to tell. This is his territory and Purito wasn't exactly working for him today, just sitting on Valverde's wheel.

Nope.
This was a short steep climb. On the long climbs, I personally believe Purito is better, but this is a new Moreno even to what he's been the past few years, so it is hard to say for sure.

Barguil top ten! I didn't know he was that good as a puncheur, I thought he preferred the longer climbs.

Moreno leader by 1 second. The way Gilbert finished was just too bad, he was dying. Moreno's performance, well, as it was said, it too good. |
