5 Rings of Moscow Stage 3 (2.2)
May 7th, 2013
Today is the penultimate stage of the tour! Its full of hills that will sort the climbers from the sprinters for sure! I've got no doubt that atleast one Russian rider will be in the attack with a shot at the stage win. We will send a rider in the break because its never a bad strategy, but the hope is that Dolezal can hang on to his 2nd place overall and 1st in the U25 classification.
And as planned Pavel Kopecky slips into the breakaway giving the team atleast some nice exposure. It turned out it would be more than that though...
With Kopecky still up the road with 20km to go, Hunal goes on the chase with Zoidl, who are in chase of Sabido and Polanc.
After kms of chasing the gaps are reduced, and Sabido escapes from Polanc and joins the lead group of riders. Our guys are still behind but the gaps aren't too major.
And Pierzga is the rider who wins it in the sprint. He attacked late in the day ahead of the real favourites and outsprinted the remnants of the break, with Sabido just latching on to the back of the group in the end. For our guys, not too much time lost and still placed in the Top 10, which would be a good result!

You asked Valv, but my opinion is that this is by far the best database for PCM13 , so far. Tons of teams, races, great graphics, small amount of bugs. Just perfect for CT or PCT career/story.
Not saying that it's not good for WT career/story , but i'd recommend PCMdaily Real Name then.
And shame that your guys couldn't enter TOP5 when there are already 3 of them in TOP10, but it's still great result!

This is a great read, keep up the good work. Must admit I'm a sucker for small teams, so I'm enjoying this story a lot. |

@ Miguel - Thanks Been finding it easy to get mediocre results, but not a great one except the one win.
I would recommend it. Its great. The realistic young rider names aren't quite as good, but I think you can steal the PCM.daily ones. I will probably just change some names if they are really bad, but still better than Cyanides names. Other than that, I cant think of any downsides.
@ admir - Thank you
@ baia - Yeah, it was a nice result for him.
@ tsmoha - Great
@ pavuk - I hope so too!
@ jph - Thanks very much! Happy that you're enjoying it so far!

Already downloaded part 1, tomorrow I'll download the other parts. Beeing 2 GB each doesn't help downloading fast at all. Oh well, then 1 day of spending editing the DB and off I go. |

@ Miguel - Great! I think they've got a stats update coming. I know a few members on this site were contacted to help them improve their stats thru PM including myself. They're obviously aware of things that need work and are trying to make it as good as possible, so great on them.
@ sutty - thank you
5 Rings of Moscow Stage 4 (2.2)
May 8th, 2013
Today is classified as a flat stage however its quite a bit hillier than it suggests and I think a lot of sprinters will have trouble getting to the finish in the lead group! We may even see some attacks from the overall favourites!
The first action of the day begins with a breakaway of 5 riders. The peloton didn't feel too threatened by the break however we wanted to hold Kopecky's place.
After a day of chasing the break still out in front, some of the leaders attacked like Sabido and Polanc! Hunal also made a move of his own, as did race leader Matej Vysna.
It wasn't enough for us to catch the leaders though! Tratnik did a great job of getting in the break! He was clearly the strongest there and deserves the win! Due to the spacing of the finishers, Hunal managed not to lose any time to the race winner moving himself up in the GC in the process!

Top quality reports, like we're used of you.
What I notice about you is that you never slack off. You're one of the most consistent story writers I've every followed. Never a bad report |
