And Veelers being the 3rd guy, this is one strong sprint train..
EDIT: I guess they're desperate for some WT points

Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

So Degen and Kittel together? Is Degenkolb going to lead-out Kittel?
They cover all types of possible sprint finishes, with one helping the other depending on who has the better chance.
So Degenkolb helping Kittel on the really flat stages, and Kittel working for the team early on in hillier, with probably de Kort and Geschke as leadouts for Degenkolb.
Prepare to see white everywhere but in the last 500 metres as always

I do find him a bit overrated as well, but to me he's still a clear contender. Quite better time trialist, not so bad climber, he has a good shot.
Yes this year he has no reason to consider him as contender..
But we all have seen 2012 ..he was more then amazing there. Over any expectation

Still not sure why don't give Bos a try with so many flat sprints.. Good team overall though, I don't get why Leezer makes the squad.. but other than him there's strength in depth in mountains plus solid flat support if needed.
Nordhaug and Boom to be used mostly as break riders.

Give it a try. Should be funny to be caught with doping in a small, local, amateur cycling event.
Sad as it may be it happens all the time. ALL the time.
People everywhere spend tons of money to be the "winner" among the weekend duffers in cat.3 races.

Leezer did such a good work keeping Mollema out of trouble on the flat in Suisse, that Mollema himself requested Leezer to be in the squad |

Cam Meyer finished inside top 10 in Turkey, Calafornia and De Suisse. Finished 5th on queenstage of De Suisse.
None of them can climb obviously. |

That's a preety good lineup for GreenEdge, the best they can field anyway for Tour.
If needed, they have good leadout in Lancaster and Impey. Should also get a good TTT result.
Albasini and Gerrans are one of better riders to have if you are going into breaks to get results as well. While Clarke's goal might be again KoM. Meyer could target GC, I still however I am doubting his chances in a GT at his level in career, but he could surprise for sure.
This team could have some success, however it could fail to deliver quite easily too. Will be intresting though.

Degenkolb won't be lead-out for Kittel. He will be earlier in the train and Veelers will be the lead.
No Renshaw t Blanco, they will go full for Mollema. Might be vey interesting to see how far he can get.
Who will be wearing the yellow jersey in the first stages? |

I don't see the point in going all out for GC when the best you can achieve is a 6th or 7th place (as a team).
There is some mountain depth but not more as last year or the year before when they never were at the front on mountain stages.
I think Bos didn't want to go because of 'too hard'. Just like Guardini. That second stage plays an important role I guess. Wouldn't surprise my btw if Kittel doesn't make it there

Shack
Jan Bakelants
Laurent Didier
Tony Gallopin
Markel Irizar
Andreas Klöden
Maxime Monfort
Andy Schleck
Jens Voigt
Haimar Zubeldia
One of the strongest teams on paper, however likely to be quite ''useless''.
A team GC is likely to be guaranteed. More than that? Depends of Andy. Zubledia or Kloden can do good anonymous GC.
Gallopin and Bakelandts could bring some glory from breaks.

Strong squad as expected really. Should give Sky a good battle for sure.
Surprised to see not a single Dane though in the squad...

Wow, you're going to choose Bennati who hasn't done anything this season over Sorensen, either Chris or Nicki? They could be another extra help for Contador. But he's got Paulinho, who is, according to Paulo Martins, the world's best team-mate. |

They should really replace Bennati by Chris Anker |

That's a real shame about CAS, I would have liked to have seen him here. But clearly Contador has the most say in the team. |
