I didn't expect Wiggo to be doing the Ardennes classics. He is more a mountain climber then a hill.

And if hes trying to be in shape at this time of the season it might effect his effort for this years tour de france ... |

It doesn't really matter, since his objective this season is to win Giro, which starts in three weeks. |

EBH definitely one of the favourites, as he placed 4th in the WC last year on the same finish. He was a reserve on the provisional startlist so I didn't put him in yet, will do now.
I would put money on him not being in the top 10. Or even top 20. Perpetually overrated.
Nordhaug's the better Norwegian for these races I think. But I disagree, he has a chance at Top 10 or atleast Top 20. Doubtful that he'd win or even podium though.
Nordhaug has been sick + knee injury. Doubtful he'll show anything at all.
About EBH, seems he'll be only a domestique for Henao and Uran so we shouldn't expect any result.

Sagan I think will bomb out. I think he is too young. And he is doing well in everything. Cobbles, Hills, Sprints, TT and Mountains. I think its a bit suspicious but yeh

Its all well and good to say that a lad like Boasson Hagen is a favourite and what not, but doesn't this years course have far more climbing?
A little bit from memory but it ends after the Cauberg, with the same ending as the Worlds, where he performed well.

RUN, AVIN IS COMING FOR YOU!!!
But I don't really agree. He's not among the top-riders in TTs and Mountains...
And he might be a bit suspicious, but he did never test positive, so why would I be sure that he doped? I just have some belief in cyclists left

Your right. I suppose he is just like EBH. They can both do everything

This is not a proof of rider being clear at all, i would rather think about his carrer as the whole, what he did at cyclocross and MTB and how he steadily improves after storming the WT right after coming to professional peloton (TDU and PN in 2010).

True, but I was just trying to say that as long as it's not proven that someone doped, then I believe him(in most cases)

I have to say Sagan is becoming Cyclings absolute superstar at the moment, there is no reason to believe he will not be thereabouts at the end of Amstal. He seems even better than he was last year, if we get a repeat of the worlds I think he will be able to stick with Gilbert on the Cauberg.
I enjoy watching him and the Colombians (and Froome) at the moment the most. There is some raw talent there, I think those riders will be fascinating to watch against the crafty Astana and veterans such as Phil and Purito.

Vanendert says he thinks he can do well.
Tim Wellens and Bart De Clerq are shadow leaders. When a reporter asked Vanendert what he thinks of that, he said that if they should ride better than him in the next races, he'd be glad to work for them like he worked for Gilbert so long. But obviously he wishes to be the leader, and I believe he'll be the strongest in the Lotto team. |

If theres still riders taking drugs to improve their riding performance it wont only be Sagan, I'm sure of that. Cancellara has been the dominant classic rider the last years together with Gilbert, why cant Sagan make it a trio? I know hes young but he might be cyclings own Messi |

@mowinckel91-You can't really compare Messi with Sagan. 2 completely different things.
And Cancellara has been checked for doping many times after his wins in the cobble classics and with 4 WC TT wins. By now they would have caught him if he had doped.

I don't want to start a discussion, but you can't seriously think that Cancellara is clean. Do you know why he is called Luigi?

Yes, every doper has been caught by a test after race.
I can only think of one.
