Hushovd problems again. Now with wheels. Really "lucky" guy.

Two Euskaltel guys in the peloton with less than 70km to go. New record, well done.

The joys of sending all their non-Basque guys here.

Wouldn't think so. Infact, Oroz finished RvV. They are becoming really good on cobbles

That and the low pace, the peloton is huge. But yeah the Basque guys would have crashed out already.

Also anyone know why Ion Insausti didn't ride any cobbled races this year for Euskaltel? I know he is really talented as an all-rounder but he actually showed some talent on this terrain last year and I was looking forward to watching him.

Sorry Izagirre. Well it is Ion Izagirre Insausti in my defence.

You mean Izagirre right? Yeah he did good in the cobbled races last year, and that's possibly the reason why they didn't send him there this year. It really looks like Igor González de Galdeano is doing all he can to ruin the team.

It's Ion Izagirre Insausti.
He was top 20 in GW last year afte being in the break all day iirc.
He has more value in other races where he can score important points?

But that's the thing, they already have leaders for those races. They don't really have anyone who stands any chance of scoring in these races, so he could have a chance of doing something new for them. Even if he just rode something like RvV which would probably have suited him more.
