They also remembered Renshaw 2nd time round.
Chava had a really good go at getting that second

Meh, Kelderman loses Young rider's jersey to Viviani
Nice win by Bouhanni, he was stuck in the middle of the peloton at some point, but still managed to win...

Yes, but Bouhanni will be wearing yellow, leaving white for Viviani

Does anyone know the song/melody that was just played over the footage of the sprint?

Costa does a Gesink.
No but seriously it sucks. I thought he had a great chance to win PN. And he's also a danger man for the classics, wonder if he'll be back in time for that |

Bert-Jan Lindeman is just a heavily underrated rider, ever since the national championships last year he's performing really well, attacking all the time. I hope he will win the KoM rankings here, it would be great for him!

Costa has just informed, via Facebook, that he has no fractures. He sounded a bit optimistic, given the huge disappointment this must have been. |

Movistar again having a team leader crash hard and lose out on early season goals.
Last season was Valverde, now Costa. But on the plus side, this frees up Quintana to ride for himself.

Quintana to ride for himself makes me a lot more afraid than even Costa at his best, for Gesinks chances.
I mean, if Quintana rides anything like last years Dauphine or last years final week of the Vuelta, they might as well just pack their bags and go home |

Costa had no chance of winning on legs, he'd have to do it on his (considerable) smarts.
Quintana is the opposite: He might have better legs than anyone but is likely to be caught out in any stage.

I believe he saved up in week 1&2, while the GC-riders were worn out. Thats what made him look so strong I believe. I think he is a great climber with serious GT-win potential, but this is probably to early for him. I think a stage win is more realistic for him.
