Not that hard. Look for guys who for example win sprints.
If a winner or Top 3 in sprints has 'Nothern Classics' as speciality, then he's a good classic rider(He's a good sprinter, but his spec. is classics, so he's a better cobbler than sprinter, or will develop in a better cobbler than sprinter)
This works for puncheurs too, and sometimes fighters and climbers...
An other option is to add an (easy) cobbled race to the U23 calendar
Not a bad idea . |

Wow! That's 85 Hill for sure!
A beasty potential resistance and flat ability too!
Stamina won't be that good, but enough to win every race except MSR...

I sign every season lots of young riders. I love to discover some new great riders. And even if most of them are weak, sometimes some talents appear in my team . I am still searching the ultimate rider .
Having many young riders in the team is also a big financial advantage.
There are two of my future great riders :
The next best sprinter from Luxembourg :
The future of dutch cycling is on good hands :

Both talents are very good. But which crazy Dutchman calls his son Ferd?!
Kevin Scholten sounds much more Dutch
Kevin Scholten will be a great sprinter I think...
@Brewers90 Would be nice

Yeah, I think the countries are switched because Kevin Scholten sounds Dutch.

I don't know about the names.
Maybe my scout try to fool me. I needed a rider from Luxembourg, for the sponsor, so he sent me a dutch under cover .
Btw, I have another dutch rider, Oscar Zevenhuisen. Not so good, but if this name isn't dutch either, I will fire my scout . |

Well, it's PCM, so it's not really surprising
Oscar Zevenhuisen sounds Dutch! Only problem is that it should be Zevenhuizen to be correct Dutch(Means Seven Houses, and it's also a town in the Netherlands)

Lots of nice talents, though I wonder how many have been edited. I know riders like Gruber can't exist from the default game, the XMLs simply won't let a rider like that exist.
I know my XMLs which many people have at least made riders capable of being very good in multiple skills, but I don't think I made the old XML files have the ability for riders to hit 80s in opposite disciplines (MO/SP). My newer ones are better and certainly don't allow that, though you can get close (80s/upper 70s) in some very very very rare chances.

Well my guy Will Parker has fully developed his hill stats, he got 83, and he is on the way to get 79-80 in mountain. He's potential is also pretty good in sprints and cobblestones, and I haven't touched a thing in the editor
