Columbia is nowhere to be seen.
Leonardo Duque was your highest ranked rider at 46. Thought they might try and get into the breakaway because they are not competing with the sprinters on show. |

Yeah, but it's kinda of annyong to press to enlarge. But anyone can have their opinion. Sad that Sérgio Ribeiro didn't do anything. |

They had everyone bar Ryder up the front of the peloton driving the break back at that point and just picked up the point. So much so that Zach Bell was the only man (bar the 'control team' to lose time having spent the most time up there. |

Yeah, it was a bit of sarcasm, because when i play i usually whack all my guys on the front and end up accumalating many, many intermediate sprints and mountain points. |

I've done it, will write it up later.
Action everywhere in the 2nd half of the race, so much so that I took so many screens that it auto deleted everything I took from the first half of the race because it couldn't hold it!!!! |

RACE PREVIEW: "Stage 2 to Stirling has both sprint points and the mountain sprint in the first half of the stage so it may well be hard for a break to get away. Then when we get to 3 and a half laps of the punchy circuit that finishs on the up slope. As a result, a good chance for a puncher
to make a move."
BBC 2
HUGH PORTER: "For those joining us on BBC 2 here is a recap of what we have been watching on the red button:
We had a four man break getaway involving Britain's Dan Lloyd as well as Michael Schar, Julian Arrendondo and Sergio Sousa. Arrendondo took the mountain points while the other three have split the sprint point 8 apiece. "
CHRIS BOARDMAN: "The big news for British fans is that Mark Cavendish is off the back. As is Tyler Farrar and Danielle Bennati."
HP: "Points jersey wearer, Jurgen Roelandts is in that group as well and half of the Norwegian team, I'm trying to see, is Thor Hushovd in there?"
CB: "That's all because of the huge stint that Dominik Nerz and John Degenkolb have been pulling on the front and you're wrong Hugh, Hushovd is there about fifth wheel, next to Griepel in the leaders jersey."
HP: "The lead is coming down all the time with 55km to go. It's now 1 minute 50. But look Chris, Dan Lloyd has been dropped from the breakaway group."
HP:"Right, 30km to go now. Lloyd has just been caught, but the lead is still over a minute to the front three. Now then, this is interesting, Karsten Kroon has seen the catch of Lloyd as the opportunity to attack and Remi Pauriol tries to go with him.
CB: "This is a great move by Kroon. Pauriol can't live with him but he'll need support to bridge the gap to the break."
HP: "Well he might just get it as Greg Van Avermaet and Welshman Geraint Thomas have made their own move."
CB: "That's 3 very strong riders there, I'd fancy them to get there."
HP: "There's the catch and they are riding straight past them. The initial breakaway can't live with the power of these three that have just joined them."
CB: "There's a fourth man in there, and it doesn't look like he's one of the initial break. It looks like a Russian jersey."
HP: "It's Vogonov. Eduard Vogonov. I didn't see him attack, but there is no question he is there now."
HP: "8km to go. You can see the Australian and Spainish teams pulling on this peloton but it's no use. As the gap is still 1 minute 30.
CB: "Kroon has gone for a long one. Too long in my opinion.
HP: "Well, the other three look like they are pacing back up to him and with 5km to go they'll catch him and I doubt he'll have the strength to attack again."
CB: "Well Geraint has attacked upon catching Kroon. It is not enough to shake the other two but the dutchman has been dropped."
HP: "Into the last kilo now, with a three man race."
CB: "Make that a one man bikerace Hugh."
HP: "You are not wrong there, Eduard Vogonov has blown the other two away, they are not pulling that back. Van Avermaet and Thomas are racing for 2nd place. As VOGONOV celebrates! Greg Van Avermaet beats Thomas into 2nd."
CB: "Kroon's under pressure."
HP: "He is indeed, the peleton is closing on him fast...But he holds on with Wegmann 5th, Hesjedal 6th and Joaquin Rodriguez 7th."
