Van Stayen not in a train again. Happy that Keizer didn't lose anytime though.

Getting a bit tired of Trofimov's dominance ... but that being said, I appreciate that Dekker has kept out of trouble so far. |

Some hopes will be shattered by this stage. But Trofimov is a beast. Will be interesting to see when he gets put out of yellow.

It`s becoming boring and pretty unrealistic by now.
And a shame that Phinney, Fothen and some more lost time. |

Ventoso really needs to position himself better.
Madrazo's survival was good.

Quite a race for Trofimov so far, I'm thinking he might be able to pull off a top 5. Will be interesting to see how much he'll loose on Puy de Dome, if he loose anything at all.
And again, SN, the reports are brilliant. |

Not quite nice to see two managers top riders (Fothen and Phinney) suffer from an unexpected crash, especially as I am very fond of their teams but that's unfortunately part of the sport/game.
SN, it must be really annoying for you to see your team misuse Uran in that way and it haven't even paid off with a stage win to a in my view strong Swift! I'm sure it will eventually end with a deserved victory, but credits goes to Trofimov - he really is on fire.
Oh, and the reports are top notch, keep it up!

Trofimov is really impressive!
Feel sorry for those teams whose team leaders lost time though.

It is somewhat annoying yes. Uran wastes energy, Swift wastes positions.
But at least Paterski managed 3rd place today, and the whole thing ensured Uran was near the front.

It really seemed like the hills worn the sprinters out and was too steep in the end, considering Swift could not pass Paterski and Granjel Cabrera could not really accelerate. Nice sneaky move by Vastaranta though, almost spoiling Trofimovs chances.

What a ridiculous season for Festina this has been. Also: Why is Trofimov winning everything?

Martin's first good stage - not crashing
Shame about Ji and Siutsou but at least we are getting consistently in the breaks.

Bit of a shame Cunego didn't manage to get on Trofimov's wheel - looking at the video seemed to be just about the fastest finisher.
Still got to look at the positives - keeping well out of trouble so far and is in a GC position that may be allowed to sneak away on the next tough stage. |

Just got back and caught up, really enjoyed watching the videos - the crash analysis was an interesting new thing.
Trofimov is dominant, which is ominous. The other GC contenders will have to hope he has peaked too early. |

Bleh. I was hoping the 2nd Wiki rider high up was Phinney but it turned out to be Summerhill. On the plus side, he won't be injured, and the team have been putting together consistently decent stage finishes.

Well, it has to be said again, I don't know how Cyanide managed it, but they made PCM worse.
Roll on next season for many managers. I'm just lucky that Popo was still up there (just!) and I had a total of three riders in the front group for the teams classification. Though having four of my climbers crashing in one stage was not a helpful move.

Trofimov is all over the race at the moment, then again Schleck and Ricco had some success early on in the Giro so we shouldn't be completely surprised.
I am surprised that Cunego has not been able to get any sort of bonus and Madrazo vs Cunego will be intriguing on the Puy de Dome.
The crash on stage 6 - well seemed inevitable with the Tour, it will be no consilation to the affected teams and managers. Perhaps things can be turned around on first climbing stage that can go with an early attacker on the climb.
For Jayco Red Bull, it is pleasing seeing an active race from the team getting in breaks and Gadret is riding pretty well. Impey has been mixed but was in the fight on that stage, had he kept on Swift's wheel maybe he could have even taken a podium.

In hindsight, Puy de Dome may have been a bad inclusion in the route - far too narrow for too long. But, didnt realise that at the time, and by the time of racing it it was too late to change, oh well!

Stupid Madrazo
Not a good sign if he has lost a 90 seconds already in the mountains, I guess he's riding for third then.
