Anyway back on topic (sort of); British Eurosport is not showing today's stage live, instead it's showing the bloody Tour of Britain
I mean seriously, what genuflecting sycophant decided that watching the Knight of the Realm parading around in the middle of the bunch in a flat circuit race was more important than a key stage of the Vuelta?

@Admir: I kind of agree with Froome, but I do hate the fact that he's always checking his meter and he ofcourse looks nothing like aerodynamical, BUT I don't really mind that. I like it when a rider seems to be suffering, rather than Quintana sitting there like a statue.
Of course. Liking certain amount of riders, their styles more than some other ones and stuff like that are normal, obviously, but some people here seem to hate every part of cycling, starting from boring stages, wheelsucking, ugly riding styles, bad organisation of races etc etc and yet they're one of most active in Cycling sub-forum. Mindufck level over 9000.

Roux out due to a crash. Mondory and Landa also fell but are back in the peloton.
FDJ down to just 4(!) riders...

Well, do you even know what HATING someone means? How can you HATE someone that is riding the best he can (smart) and on the way that suits him the best? That is absolute bullshit and totally wrong, in my honest opinion. It's same like hating a footballer for the way he runs. No one should ever be hated for riding style. After all, how is Froome's riding style not likeable? You do not like to see someone drop and then come back, someone that brings some action in this sport? What do you like, Contador jumping on his bike whole mountain and no one being able to catch him or Valverde not being able to accelerate for shit?
And as I said million times already, if you hate or dislike some part of cycling ("boring stages" few days ago, "wheelsucking", "hating someone's style" and things like that ), just do not watch it.
Personally, I dont hate anybody of those I mentioned, I just pointed out that I disliked them due to their style of riding. And there's nothing wrong with that.
Anyway, back to topic. |

Another one playing Contador-esque mind games - says he's not too fussed about the green jersey and now this
Break is Degenkolb, Vandewalle, Meyer, Aramendia and Niemiec. Niemiec to take it if the break survives.

I can't hate on Froome because of his riding style. personally I don't mind it really and *whispers* I also spend most of my riding time looking at my stem except when having hard headwind, then I ride like Horner on a climb

Froome looks more like a human now, his results are more realistic imo. I think that's why people are starting to hate him less or like him . |

Indeed, he has not been on a different planet to everyone else like last year |

Edit: Arredondo retirado. Not a great Vuelta for him, sadly.

Martin apparenty crashed on one of the haiprins on the climb to Puerto del Torno. The peloton has split up a bit. Crashmin are chasing 1:20 behind the peloton guided by Movistar. |
