I doubt that Ulissi will play any significant role in the GC after three weeks.
I also don't understand the hype about Kelderman atm.
Being in the mix now means really nothing. Even Morabito is still 4th in GC, which shows that zero serious climbing has been done up to now.
The first important mountain test will probably be stage 14.
Being in the Top 10 in the GC at the end would still be a great result for Kelderman and he certainly has the chance to achieve that, unless he totally collapses in the third week.
The average age of the winners of the first week is 24 years 205 days
Much younger than than the average age of any teams in this Giro : https://www.procyc...amp;stat=2
Well I knew this was going to be Ulissi's year pretty early on, especially after the end to his season last year and then great performance at the TDU. Its only the first week still, but I hope he can continue it on for the 3 weeks.

Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

In case you missed the Final kilometers of Giro d'Italia Stage 8, you can watch them here.
Spoiler
Summarized as:
1) Rolland?
2) Rolland?!
3) Rolland!?!
4) Nope it was Ulissi in a "long sprint"
Not how I look at it.
1) Rolland?
2) Hmm, Kelderman a bit back. Rolland needs to be reeled in now though, if Kelderman wants a chance on the stage-win
3) Kelderman getting to the front. This could be a Top 5 or so?!
4) Wow! Third is actually damn good. Who knows what would happen if he hadn't been slowed down by a slow riding rider for a sec(this part is too optimistic, I reckon )

What do you guys think about tomorrow's stage?
And do you think Poels can get a top 10? He's 14th in the GC now .
It's going to be pretty hard cause that's not his priority. But considering the fact that really his biggest rivals are Monfort and Rolland, and that Quickstep won't have to work up front that much then I don't think it's out of reach.

Wasn't there a certain slapstick duo 3rd and 4th after one week Tour de France as well?
THIS! it's the same story all over again

Here we go... Just don't cry or make excuses when "Nairo boy" drops 5 minutes on him in last week.
you're either underestimate Quintana or overestimate Kelderman, Quintana is going to put at least 5 minutes on everybody, especially since Kelderman is going to fade away in the third week or whenever the real giro starts

It seems like no one has a sense of humor here.
what I posted is unrelated to what you posted, that's why I don't quote you
edit: I don't see why you need to make note of my lack of a sense of humor
